Is it possible that the worm was overloading the system? Windows Update now seems to have an update to fix that problem.

no, when they tried to apply an update yesterday(feb 7th) it essentially crashed the system.. or that is what they are teling us.... but then again MSN was never very good at letting it's support techs know what is happenning

ok, the updates are not some requirement for logging onto msn, I installed the updates and still nothing

noone uses ICQ, i never said they did

however you can ask anyone at my college what their screen name is and they will give it to you and itll be a AOL screen name 90% of the time

i have a MSN name only because i figured i might need it soem day, havent yet, someone once gave me their SN and i asked AOL or MSN and they responded with WTF is MSN Messenger
