exactly.. all my friends are on aim/msn. if I wanted to chat w/ geeks all day then I'd consider icq.

I do and it's much better than that crappy msn,i tried it out for a few days & it sucks.

the biggest complain I got is you cant send a message while the user is offline,with icq it's easy to send a message while the user is away & he can reply to me if i am away too.

icq is 10X better than this crappy msn.

sadly enough, they don't like to tell us, i am only a tier 1 tech... they only tell us that it was caused by a software update that failed miserably...

I don't have many people on it, but the point here is, people should at least use 2 mediums at all times to stop shi t like this affecting them.

You can't tell people though, most people turn back to sh itty as hell MSN.

Just get Trillian and an ICQ account, as well as signing into your MSN, and give yourself some redundancy.
