Good question. I just rewatched the last few minutes and it's inconclusive at best. You hear a couple minutes before the cops get into the warehouse and tell White to put down the gun. During those couple minutes, there's what sounds like what could be gunfire and yelling but it's hard to tell. I always kind of hoped he got away.

IMO it was too quiet for gunshots, and it was heard immediately after a car went by. Even if it was gun shots and Mr. Pink got shot, that would mean that the car would have crashed and that would have been heard

Sure, you are entitled to your opinion, but the only way you could come up with that particular one is if you beat yourself on the head with a hammer daily.
I suppose you enjoyed The fast and the Furious because of its excellent writing and plot.

Mr. Pink dies. The whole idea of the film is that no one can excape.
On a more symbolic level, the empty frame at the end represents the lack of life and hope.
