You have determined that all allegations against Kavanaugh were lies made up to sink him?
Conservative tears are just so bitter. giant man babies find respite here.
Must be dreamy, living in that fantasy denial universe.
Conservative tears? Living in denial?
What a joke. I'm not crying nor am I living in denial.
Kavanaugh is a SC Justice and all of the false accusations have been cast off.
You guys are a joke.

I don't know that they were lies or not. Just a bunch of accusations with no substance to back them up. There was also a lot of lying and exaggeration.
Yes, I think politics was a very large part of it.

You guys need to figure out when to quit. Kavanaugh is a supreme court justice, he isn't going to be impeached. You're fighting a battle that's already lost. All the impotent hand wringing on earth isn't going to change that. Time to move on.
Trying to achieve the same level of incompetence as those you hate doesn't come across as well as you seem to think.Imagine if conservatives had taken advice like this when a black guy was elected president, dare to dream.

Bill Maher and other rational voices get it. You and the brave waterboys of P&N, not so much.Imagine if conservatives had taken advice like this when a black guy was elected president, dare to dream.
At this point they’re just showing off how much water they can carry.Trying to achieve the same level of incompetence as those you hate doesn't come across as well as you seem to think.

You're really comparing thousands held in bondage to your feelings about a judge? If you don't care, go to some other thread. I think this is significant and worth discussing regardless of whether Kavanaugh could possible be removed. Of course, times do change, and a continued voice of resistance may eventually gain power. There was a time, for example, you could say:
"You guys need to figure out when to quit. Blacks are slaves. You aren't going to be freed. You're fighting a battle that's already lost. All the impotent hand wringing on earth isn't going to change that. Time to move on."
Personally, I think the world is much better off having so many fight a losing battle. Had there not been so many fighting without individual hope, there would probably be slavery today.
You're really comparing thousands held in bondage to your feelings about a judge?
You think chatting with other like minded people is some sort of resistance?
Where are the leaders of the democratic party? Why won't the top person in that party act? Why isn't there an impeachment proceeding going on right now? Can you even guess at the answer? What would stop the democrats from moving forward on this? What is the one thing they need to remove Kavanaugh from the bench? I'll give you a hint, it's the one thing that hasn't appeared in this thread.
pcgeek11 I don’t know if they were lies or not.
next post 7 minutes later:
Pcgeek11 they were lies.
lol
There is no doubt that some allegations were discredited and that politicizing happened, including an exaggeration of their significance at the time. There is also no doubt that some accounts, if true, are deeply concerning.
Would you also agree that, if a moderate subset of allegations against Kavanaugh are true, then this represents a serious pattern of misconduct in the past and a misrepresentation and perjury in the present that readily disqualifies him?
If so, what standard of evidence to establish these accusations would you find reasonable?
Well for starters I didn't see anything that convinced me in the least during the hearings.
Second I don't care that he drank too much at high school / college parties. So did most kids.
What would convince me would have to be a LOT more substantial than a decades old rumour that nobody else seems to remember other than hearsay and rumour mill after the alleged incident.
Context matters. Allow me to clarify for the slow minded.
As for the women that were accusing him of several vile acts. I do not know if they were lying or not as it was so long ago and the lack of supporting evidence make the accusations null IMO.
As for the various actor supporting these women and pressing them forward yes there was lots of lying involved. Just to throw out a big one would be Avenatti.
Sorry you can't follow along. I'll try and keep that in mind when I post.
