I bought the game because I love FPS. I can handle devils and demons, but I think the imagery in question was a little stupid and irresponsible. Do you think a game set in WWII should show Jews being shot, gassed or burned alive? Come on now, do you think Christian parents should allow their children to see that kind of crap? I love the game but that was my only beef about it.

Well it is positive you just have to take it into perspective. Imagine hell as a company like say intermech, your standard cubicle lemming pushing company. Now to push this company that much further on its road to success (or layoffs) they put posters around the office showing what success would look like. In hell instead of posters they would have jesus disemoboweled. What other way would you motivate your hellspawn? If you can look at it in a corperate perspective it is obvious that this whole jesus thing is very positive.

Within the context of Christianity, it is the symbolism that it represents Christ's death, and what he died for.

How do you know it was Christ? Lots of people were crucified 'cuz it's a nasty way to die. What better symbolism for hell?

well it goes even further - according to the christians/catholics 'dying' is something positive too.
(You end the pain of this life and enter paradise :) YAY for dying :)

Please, if that offends you, do NOT go and see the new exorcist movie or you may cry. Desacration of Christ is everywhere in that movie, as it should be considering it's showing a symbolism of Hell and a demon from hell.

Those guys were in the original doom. Tho they were arranged differently but a lot of stuff is in this new doom. It has complete merit to be in this game. Shuttup and go read your cult book.

1. The guy is not Jesus. Just because the guy doesn't have a dick and balls, it doesn't mean he's Jesus.
2. Your idea about WWII game sounds good. You should've been working for a game company instead of posting here.
