I haven't seen any of them. I planned on watching them one day but now that the OP has ruined the end of the series in one fell swoop I don't think I'll bother :(

You're new to the Internet and society if the story was ruined for you just now.

STFU noob  There are lots of movies I haven't seen. I haven't even seen Godfather and know pretty much nothing about the story. One day I'll watch it and I appreciate that no one has ruined it for me yet. All it takes is a spoiler tag.

Very mature of you. How spoilers of Starwars have not passed your ears is beyond me. Regardless, why on earth would you come in a thread about Starwars if you didn't want it ruined for you?

Your own fault.

I've also been to several threads about the new James Bond movie, but avoided the one that was marked for spoilers. All it takes is a spoiler tag.

Empire Strikes Back is my fav out of all of them and i dont care what anyone says but episode1/2/3 are horrible movies IMO. bad acting and the stupid Anakin actor kid sucked bad in every single one, he was a whiny little basterd. the only good thing about the movies were the effects but the Darth Maul fight in episode 1 was pretty good.

Oh and please put spoilers in your Title :disgust:

Who hasn't seen Star Wars?

well at least one person.
Make that two. I work with a guy who has never seen them either.

edit: FWIW Episode IV is the first movie I ever went to at the theatres as a kid

I had not seen any of them until recently (2 weekends ago I think) on Cinemax. I then watched them in chronological order. I do however feel that I need to rewatch them again. Oh, and I found out that the ones I saw were digitally re-fx'd ones. Booo. Oh and FWIW I am 25.

I saw IV in the theatre. I saw V about 11 years ago on VHS (my wife bought the trilogy). Never saw VI.

I think I've seen 15 minutes of I, about 30 minutes of II, and a couple of minutes of III, all because the kids want to watch them. I'm just not a big sci-fi guy, though I did think V was pretty good.

Forgive my youth, but hasn't Episode IV always been called Episode IV, and not I? If so, that would indicate plans to make prequels and sequels. If not, then, well, I don't know.

It was not always labeled as "Episode IV: A New Hope". It was added later.

I just introduced my 5yr old to the wonderful world that is StarWars. HE watched 4-6 then 1-3 (the way they were meant to be watched... any other order is stupid and sacrilegious IMHO... I mean KNOWING that Darth is Luke's Father the whole way through... ugh).

Regardless, its funny to notice. Here is a pure blank slate in my son that has no idea of why 4-6 are classics etc., and given the chance to watch whatever one(s) he wants in a given day, he CONTINUOUSLY goes back to 4-6 and has only seen 1-3 once (except he does enjoy the Clone battle at the end of II). It simply goes to show how horrible 1-3 truly are and how good 4-6 are.

OK, guys... drop the spoilers nonsense. I could see complaining if the movie had only been out on DVD for under a year, but there comes a time in every movie's life where you can discuss it freely without mentioning that there will be spoilers. I think after 30 years, Star Wars qualifies. Especially since there are frequent references to it in popular culture. The endings of BOTH Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were revealed in Simpsons episodes more than 10 years ago. Apparantly they thought enough time had gone by.
