Did anyone else find Napoleon Dynamite to be a crappy movie?

Some of you are so lame, you have to appreciate it for what it is. It's not like the stupid humor that you're used to. I didn't waste my money on Harold and Kumar but I paid to see ND.

yeah, definitely crappy....if you don't have the right sense of humor...

although, after watching it I have found myself talking like ND at odd moments..."sheez!"

and the ending? what the....?

I admit, I did find the whole "yah, I' used to have nunchucks and a bow staff in my locker" thing funny :D Reminds me of a guy I knew in high school. Thought he was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle....:D

Harold and Kumar was a great satire actually. It played on the stereotypes for Asians. Guess you'd have to be one to get all the jokes. If you did, you wouldn't stop lauging once for the entire course of the movie. I rate a comedy based on how much it makes me laugh, plain and simple. It could be smart or stupid. I'm sure Napoleon Dynamite had some really in depth references to growing up in middle America or some crap like that but it didn't make me laugh AT ALL.
