In my dream...

I was at work and me and another guy discovered a secret passage behind a painting and we could travel through space and time and clock in one second and out another but still get our 8 hours.

Then...

I was walking up to my desk and there were people all standing around wanting stuff. I did some work for the first guy, but the second guy asked me to do something very strange.
He wanted me to trap a quail in a net and bash it's head in with a 10lb weight and then draw it.
I told him no. He looked at me and said if I didn't than I was going to be fired. I told him to fire me. He couldn't because he had no power over who was fired and who was not.
He told me I was fired. I started to leave but I asked my boss, and he said I was not fired and to tell the guy to fsck off. The guy turned into a girl and I told her to fsck off. She got mad and walked away.

Then...

I was standing in the kitchen with a guy I know. Not my SO.
Someone who represents a lot of sexual and mental temptation for me in my life right now.
And we were talking. And then he leaned me over the counter and kissed me. Not passionately. Just a wonderful small kiss. Regardless I was breathless and speechless.

Then...

My alarm went off.

Pretty much.

I'm not really sure what you want. You've stated that you have desire for this person, and the dream clearly shows that. The rest is probably just a bunch of fluff around the fact that you have some certain problems at work. Perhaps someone is being a dick who likes to think he has some authority over you, but maybe doesn't.

Dreams don't always have a deeper meaning, but if you look long enough, you might just create one. Don't dwell on dreams, they just cause problems.

Agreed.

Some dreams can be interpretted, some you can psychoanalyze to death, but there are better ways to figure out issues in your life.

The quail represents your personal freedom. The 10 lb weight is your looming commitment to your SO. You reject that commitment and your SO fires you and turns into a girl so he is no longer on your desirables list. The boss clarifies that there was no real commitment so you can't be fired.
