well i saw a thread a while back and someone had the same problem and i think it was solved. the problem is to get dual channel you must insert the mem sticks in slots 2 and 4, but when i do that it does not boot into windows, and when i try 1 and 3 its not in dual. seems 2 and 4 is the only dual channel combination yet i cant get it, any ideas?

I've never looked on DFI's website but I know MSI's site has pretty good instructions on how to flash the bios. Here is a link to their instructions which should work just fine for your DFI board if it uses an Award/AMI bios. I've been able to flash the bios on a few mobos using WinFlash program which is used through Windows and doesn't require a floppy drive. On others, the bios files don't match up with what Winflash likes so I've used a floppy. There might be a way of converting the bios file to a .bin file if you don't have a floppy drive so that Winflash can use it, but I'm not sure how.
