I recentley just bought one of thoose ultra 500w psu wiht the moddable connectors and what not cause i thouhgt it would be easy to use, but i saw that the dfi sli-dr uses a 24 pin, and thats the board i want to get. Right now i have only 1 6800 gt and plan on going on sli later, am i gonna need a new power supply when i go sli or should i just return this one (still have time for rma) for a 24 ping psu? If i should get a new one which one should i get, link anyhthing. Thanks

I really like the 520W OCZ Powerstream. It's got a single 12V line with plenty of power and has all the power cables you need.

The 550W Sparkle is also a good PSU that costs about half as much as the OCZ but I'm not sure if the rails are quite as solid (haven't seen any reviews). It has 36A on the single 12V rail. I only wish it had a 2nd fan to help evacuate some of the heat from the case.

I have Tagan 480W on the way from Newegg. So far it's gotten top marks(it was picked number 1 amongst a group of many, many PSU's in an extensive roundup) in almost every review I've seen. Toms Hardware had an issue with a few failing, but Tagan gave a press release stating they were pre-production models and the problem has since been isolated and resolved.
