If you go into the graphics settings of DE: IW and change something, it will go back to the default resolution.

Hello everyone! I am new to the forums, and bought this game off of steam cause of the price for both games. Anyway I too am having the same issue as Dvar. only the read me boxes are already unchecked when i get there and I still get both those boxes he got.

Any suggestions?

Lol, you're welcome.

question: the font size seems to shift around. whenever it first starts or first loads a section, the font size is TINY. If I alt-tab out of it and come back, the font size increases to a big more readable size. Do you know any way to keep it a big size?

It's too bad this game is so crappy, now that I've finally got it working properly, I've come to find out that I really don't like playing it. LOL

I gave up on it. The game itself is just so awful. No big loss as I bought it along with the original DE together for $4.50 or something on Steam sale. Fingers crossed Eidos doesn't ass up Human Revolution.

Thanks for your work anyways though! lol

This sounds like a compatibility issue with your system, not the program. Are you using an Intel IGP? Try updating your graphics card drivers.

Nope, ATI 5870 with latest official drivers. And no reason to get defensive, I know you took your own time to code this. I apologize if I came off rough.

It's working here -- I think. I have a couple of questions (and thanks very much for putting the effort into this, but the way):

-- does Deus Ex (original) support 16:10 and/or 1920x1200 with this mod? The best I appear to be able to get is, I'm guessing, 16:9, as I have black bars above and below.

-- how does what I see on the screen relate to what the resolution settings are in the setup menu? The highest choice I have after running the tool is 1600x1024, even though I've stated 1920x1200 in the tool.

Yes, Deus Ex supports 16:10. Did you set the files to "Read Only"?

Ignore what the in-game resolution setting says.

Yes the game runs fine in 1280x1024 (but looks ugly as hell). I tried to set the resolution to 1680x1050 and 16:10; it then hung when ever i left the menu. I can try again if you think it will help ?

Ok this is rather embarrassing. I missed that i had to select deus x or deus x invisible war at the top :(

Ok it works fine. Thanks!

Did it work before?
