Anybody else having serious trouble with first boss?.....I must of tried it like 8 times and died ,nothing seems to slow him down or hurt him,tried headshots,shotgun,sniper rifle, etc.....even on easy he is hard lol....

It was pretty easy for me, emp grenades are extremely helpful, as it paralyzes him and you can move the explosive barrels next to him and shoot them and him, flash grenades work too, but you might get flashed yourself at the same time also.

I used a stun gun and hit him in the face repeatedly with a pistol. He ended up killing himself by throwing grenades on a gas tank he was next to.

i shot a bunch of tranq darts in his face, didn't go down, but when I shot him like twice w/ assault rifle, he went down. Weird

of course i'm serious. i'm fairly new to steam, so i don't know how the gifting thing works or if it can be sold or what.

-Only certain games can be gifted, and you can only choose to gift a game if you either got a double of a game you already own or bought it as a gift in the first place. I don't think this is one of those games, and you already played it so it can't be gifted.

-It's against Steam's TOS to sell gifts. They're for GIFTING, not SELLING. If somebody reports you for taking money for a gift you can have your account banned. Yes people still do it, but it's technically not allowed by the TOS and AT won't let you post any FS threads for steam stuff because of it.

Well, I just arrived in Something Park, finished first city.

Loving the game so far. I'm usually not a stealth fan but in this game it's just pure fun.

Intuitive controls, nice gameplay, meh/ok graphics (all craked up finally, plays fluid but with some hiccups and stutter here and there but nothing serious) but I don't care since the game's really fun.

Augmentations are nice, lots of choices and "builds". Plus the weapons add-ons are a nice addition, really cool idea.

Well, I impressed with Deus Ex and glad I bought it. Would give it a 8.5-8.9 score easy.

OK guys whats your favourite weapon and do you prefer to sneak ,kill or tranq the enemy?



I do a bit of everything rather then go through the area as a killler or sneaker,however I did the police station one without killing anybody ......I like the tranq rifle and sniper rifle.

So far it's the 10 mm Pistol, which I upgraded with numerous add-ons (Silencer, larger mag, more power, laser pointer, etc). I'm mostly sneaking around and going in for Takedowns or silent kills.

Ok, I have the Augmented Edition but didn't received any of those extra stuff like weapons and missions...

I got some so far like the shotgun,AUD,UR-DED, the mission bonus is later in the game ....yeah I Pre-ordered .
Btw did you check your flat/apartment as well was some nice stuff in the secret tidy safe meantioned on your PC via email.

Yeah found some cool stuff in there, nothing huge but some weapons/ammo and a weapon add-on.

This game is some cool stuff!

There is some dialogue where you have options on what to say,its not heavy dialogue game if that's what you are wondering,most of the game is you out and about doing stuff.

There is a story so obviously you do have some dialogue.

Just recently finished another playthrough of deus ex,although dated still really enjoyed it.week off so gonna grab this,cant wait!whats the story like btw?

I made it through the entire game with an upgraded 10mm pistol and the tranq gun. Upgrade hacking early on and then pump your praxis into combat augs, particularly the aug that lets you do two take-downs at once.

Typhoon is very good for the boss fights. A few 10mm shots followed by a face full of ball-bearings will do away with any boss.

Loving the game so far. Games can't keep my interest easily and I'm fairly immersed into this one. Have to agree with one of the previous posters and have to wonder what is up with these cutscenes. Why couldn't they have just used the in game engine to produce instead of low rez videos of the in game engine.... weird.

i kinda wish they didnt make the paths so obvious. liek its pretty obvious where the vent shafts are and how to get to them, often with ramps of wood across boxes? At least from what i've seen so far. i'd like to beable to look around and find my own and beable to climb realistically instead of jump.
for once it would be nice to see an fps where you can jump and grab onto stuff to climb. Maybe some notes taken from Mirrors edge would be nice in a game such as this.
