but...but... when you tax it equals more money right????

What is this shit about indirect affects of tax increases? People putting their money elsewhere? Companies laying off and thus a reduction in payroll tax paid? People leaving to avoid the taxes? High unemployment and nothing but poverty? Get out of here with your truthful bullshit! The liberal media doesn't want to hear such shenanigans. You're putting a kink in the circle jerk.

Tax increases don't have that much to do with the downfall of Detroit. We have the folks in charge down there siphoning off the money into their pockets. The School District is suffering because of it, the city is suffering because of it. Couple that with poor education, low morale/bad attitudes, crime, and poverty...you have a recipe for disaster.

The powers that be in Detroit want nothing more than to continue collecting their paychecks, they aren't trying. Scandal after scandal...nothing is getting at the City control level.

At the commerce level, people are trying. There are tons of new things popping up downtown. This image that Detroit is empty is silly. People are coming back, not in droves, but trickling back in to pick up the pieces and rebuild.

I'd give it another 15-25 years.

And yet, you and your big talk friends are still following me and my posts, licking my butt hole.

At least I am smart enough to know 40% =! most/majority as you said. ROTFLMFAO :D

I also have the balls and cold hard cash to back up my statements, unlike you and your little friend(s).

It has been a few years, still no link(s)/sources for what I asked, classy? What a pathetic loser.

More bets you are not going to pay. Such a PB.

Keep telling yourself that, classy. Just as you keep telling yourself, one of these days, you will be able to provide a link or two that I ask over a year ago. LOL.

This one for you, take a look at this list of mugshots = http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps...30114&kategori=news03&lopenr=301140811&ref=ph

Do tell us what is the demographic of the MAJORITY of the criminals? :D (I only give out a small list, so hopefully, you will be able to do the basic math)

Again, this thread is about Detroit. Until you can provide a few links that I asked a while back. Get lost. Stop follow me around and lick my butthole. You = so nasty + not too bright.

Excuse my ignorance, but, what does "broke" means? California is in huge debt, hell, US of A has 16 Trillion dollars of debt that we can NEVER pay back, so what's wrong with Detroit? I think Detroit is doing just fine compared to the nation...

Some people actually do want to live in California. Detroit, not so much.

Last time I was visiting Detroit was around 10 years ago and even then it was very unsettling just how much of the downtown was completely abandoned. Then the housing bubble burst, and the economic and financial crises, I can only imagine how much worse downtown is today.

No thanks, that light is pretty dim...

Linking to "A conservative view of south east Michigan and beyond" isn't a terribly convincing argument considering the "conservative agenda" hasn't fared much better in many of the surrounding and nearby suburbs of Detroit (someone tell them it's not "south east"). Detroit's problems go far beyond "liberalism"...

Case and point your thinking is NUTS..... when will you get it:whiste:

Case and point you bumping and linking to an old youtube video does not change the truth of what I posted. When will you get it? Again, many of the surrounding Detroit, white suburbs are going broke, too. And again, it has nothing to do with "liberalism". Think before you bump  When you can explain how the conservative agenda is saving these broke cities we are all ears...
