The BASIC IGNORANCE in this thread is astounding. The overwhelming majority, of all the "Arabs" who live in the Detroit area are . . . wait for it, waaaiiiit for it:

Christian

including, but not limited to, Maronite from Lebanon (and hence, Syria, but you're going to have to learn that one for yourselves), Chaldean, Coptic, Orthodox, etc -- all freaking, fucking Christian!

The Detroit area Arab community has existed since the 1880's, and really started to expand in the early 1900's when they came to work for Ford.

It's safe to say that many have been multi-generational Americans since long before many of YOU washed up on these shores.

The Arab community there is huge. It's probably the biggest Arab community in the US. Many have small shops in the ghetto areas, and they don't take shit from their customers, either.

Many of you folks in this thread really ought to educate yourself on the amazingly diverse history of your own damn country on your way to educating yourself on the complex socio-political aspects of this world in which you live . . .

Because your basic ignornace and yahoo stupidity really reeks.

What does this have to do with this story except to imply they could have been Christian which is ridiculous as they are not blowing buildings or cheering about it in mass. Yes it's true majority of Arabs in USA are Christian and majority of Persians and Berbers are too but they are not the ones producing these shirts, the anti Israeli rallies, or supporting their kin' Islamic fundamentalism.
