NVMax and 3DMark read them correctly though. I got 350 more points in 3DMark2001. now at 5579 w\o any overclocking.

I also got a 3DMark 2001 increase. I'm now at 2118 with a GeForce2 MX. (Not overclocked.)

I'm not sure what the difference is but I am running the 1240's in my other comp with no problems at all and it is a Herc Pro.

I got my first nVidia card yesterday (Leadtek MX2 with TwinView stuffs). So, I am very new to the Detonator game.

From the comments on m3dzone, 12.x drivers support DirectX 8 while 8.0 (and below) only support DirectX 7?

On my Geforce 2 I got a 180 point increase in 3dmark2001 over the 12.41 drivers. Not bad!!!:)

Yeah but have the put alt-depth buffering back in for OpenGL? If not, forget about it... textures are to blurry without it.

There are 8xx drivers now and they're listed as DX7 compatible. WTF? The 7xx drivers were DX8 compatible.

Not sure what the heck's going on there.
