Handguns chambered for rifle rounds are not nearly as powerful due to barrel length. Most of the power burns off after the round has already left the weapon.

the handguns chambered for rifle rounds came in behind the s&w 500 by quite a bit but were still better than the other normal handguns they tested including the desert eagle.

If you want a powerful gun I would get the Taurus 454 Raging Bull. It is cheaper and just as powerful.

someone told me that firing a .50 DE one-handed will break your wrist. any truth to that?

also that its the standard sidearm for the israeli defense force.

sidearms arent very popular in the IDF, most just have M16s... even elite units...

also they are gonna be switching to the Tavor (TAR-21) from the M16 within a year...
