My Olde O'keefe and Merritt is chuggin' along. All 4 burners work fine, I clean them when necessary. I have the pilots trimmed nice. The oven works good too. I disconnected the center rectangular burner griddle way long ago, instead use that area (covered with a steel piece made for it) for prep, keep a cutting board on it. It's a nice arrangement except perhaps for the gases given off. However, I've never felt sick. I don't use the oven to heat the place, but sometimes I'll turn on a burner for a minute for that. I use either cast iron skillets (have a cast iron griddle with a handle too), and stainless pans of all sizes (quart up to gallon and a couple in between), but all 4 of my frying pans are cast iron.Team "right-front burner only"! Represent!!!
