Team "right-front burner only"! Represent!!!
My Olde O'keefe and Merritt is chuggin' along. All 4 burners work fine, I clean them when necessary. I have the pilots trimmed nice. The oven works good too. I disconnected the center rectangular burner griddle way long ago, instead use that area (covered with a steel piece made for it) for prep, keep a cutting board on it. It's a nice arrangement except perhaps for the gases given off. However, I've never felt sick. I don't use the oven to heat the place, but sometimes I'll turn on a burner for a minute for that. I use either cast iron skillets (have a cast iron griddle with a handle too), and stainless pans of all sizes (quart up to gallon and a couple in between), but all 4 of my frying pans are cast iron.

You don't live in the Northwest without a basement. Yea, I still remember clothes lines in the basement during the winter (where the furnace was).

And now I remember that as well...even with a dryer, there was always something hung up.

Per "USA Today":
Using a machine dryer wears clothes fast, thanks to the increase in friction and heat. Washing your clothes and then drying them on a clothes drying rack or outdoor clothesline minimizes that impact.

Air-drying also avoids static cling, eliminating the need for dryer balls or dryer sheets.
Your favorite apparel pieces will thank you for keeping their color, shape, and texture intact longer.

Laundry instructions exist for a reason. If you wear expensive, delicate, or irreplaceable clothing, it pays to read their tags. If an item should be hand washed or run on the delicate cycle, you shouldn’t put it in the dryer. And, if you’re concerned about fit, it’s best to let those clothes air-dry. If an item should be hand washed or run on the delicate cycle, you shouldn’t put it in the dryer, because it can shrink.

If your life is stain-prone (i.e. kids, pets, messy work) air-drying gives you the option to continue a stain removal process. Stains set when they’re placed in the dryer at a high temperature, and it’s pretty easy to miss stains on clothing when you’re transferring them from the washer. So you might find out too late that a stubborn mustard splotch is still there. If you air-dry a stained item, you can continue to treat the stain and wash the item until it’s removed.

Air-drying your clothes doesn’t use any electricity or gas at all.
Air drying isn’t tenable here unfortunately. Humidity almost always peaks around 90%. In the less hot parts of the year neighbors immediately start burning wood in their fire pits because.

Even the delicates that get dried on the drying rack inside in the AC can take a day or more to finish drying.

I've no doubt this is just more posturing to show how he's going to "own the libs", but it still strikes me as particularly stupid (I don't believe DeFascist himself is stupid, but is willing to do stupid things to appease his stupid voters to bolster his presidential run). Republicans, the party of protecting the children from imagined harm, while ignoring (or outright enabling) actual harm, as one of the primary drivers in anti-gas-stove reports is their association with childhood asthma.

What good will a gas stove be when there's no more gas to buy?

Headline might as well read.
