Obama is a hypocrite if he is bashing Hillary for wanting to be president for years while he himself wanted to be one since he was a kid.
I can't stand hypocrisy, which is why I am a Democrat in the first place, so I just couldn't vote for the guy.
Also, you seem to be pretty desperate to bash Hillary yourself, which to me says you are scared of her, and I should vote for her. 😀

Yeah, it is really fair to go back to Kindergarten and hold up a card or coloring as evidence of some ulterior motive later in life.

You're as disgusting as she is - a partisan political hack who would say -- or do -- anything to get (and keep) power. :|

CANDIDATES SHIFT POSITIONS IN A POLL WHILE REMAINING WITHIN THE MARGIN OF ERROR!

I never understand all these poll threads about who is leading in states where the candidates are within the polls' margin of error. It is literally meaningless. Not only that but stupid news organizations make stories about candidates fluctuating within the margin of error as well. Then again I guess "poll fluctuates within own self described area of inaccuracy" doesn't generate as many hits.

Politics and elections are all style. I agree with you about the polls, but even if the candidates switch around within the margin of error it's still meaningful because people perceive it that way and it gets discussed.

I think it's only meaningful because the media pushes it so hard. They loooooove the horse race. In fact I remember in a recent study of election coverage they spend far more time covering the horse race then they do the issues or even the candidates personally.

I mean, I know why they do it, it gets ratings, but it's still a tremendous disservice to us all. I would have thought that people here who consider themselves 'informed' would know better then to buy into it when it literally couldn't mean less.

Get a sense of humor. Also, who cares what you have to say about the Democrat primary?
I only care that you are scared of Hillary since you seem to start every Hillary bashing thread.
Anyone putting so much fear into an intellectual lightweight rightwinger must be good. 😀

I became a lifetime Democrat after the Republican hypocrites impeached Clinton. 😀
These are same people who are for "small government" when they are in minority, but spend like drunken sailors when they are in power. Same people who want the government in your bedroom telling you what to do, but do some of the sickest sh!t in their own personal lives.

The media is always concerned with the horse race because it's the easiest to understand. It takes time to do the research on differences in immigration, Iraq, or health care plans, and it takes time trying to package it in a way that'll be interesting to consumers.

A story about a poll is a simple cut and paste from the wires and it doesn't take a consumer any thought to figure out that one number is bigger than another number.

On a different topic, let's all not forget that "margin of error" means the range in which the statisticians who put together

I'm not exactly sure how you were going to finish that, but the margin of error is a scientific calculation.

Typical pile on politics. First liberals bash Clinton for Iran vote, than the usual hypocrites in the GOP who actually are for that vote join in to bash her for it.

Of all the things I've got against Billary, I've never once bashed her for the vote on Iran. I actually think it was the right vote, and she made the right decision.

Hillary is a pragmatic policymaker. Of course that makes her also calculating, which is supposedly a bad thing nowadays. Apparently even after 7 years of Bush, people still want someone who jumps into things without thinking.

I'd never take the des moines register serious, or their polls. iOwa will be just a blip on the board anyway, whatever happens. They have Rudy in like last place. He will no doubt be the front runner after iOwa. iOwa will give some poor snuck his/hers 15 minutes of fame.

iOwa doesn?t even have primaries. They have caucuses. You have to go to you neighbors to caucus and vote. Most people cant even stand their neighbors, yet alone caucus with them here.
