you can get a job having dreads..one of the guys i go to school with has dreads and hes one of the most respected people in the department

true it does cut down your chances with judgmental pricks but im guessing a guy like that wouldn't be too happy in a place like that anyway

A clue for you... Someone's hair style doesn't have anything to do with their intelligence, or what they do for money. Not that that fuckin' matters anyway. Anyone who uses employment as a measure of success is the biggest loser around ;^)

it does make them look like a drug dealing loser tho. i can't imagine why someone doesn't want that person working for them. also, it has nothing to do with measure of success, he's begging on craigslist for a place to live. if he really wanted to provide he would do everything he could not to look like a loser so he could get real job. i wouldn't expect a kid on atot to understand that though.

Wait... $500 and he's willing to live in a garage? I mean, I haven't rented in San Diego but surely you could get a studio flat that would be single-car garage comparable for $500 or a little more.

Hell... I live in Hong Kong and my studio flat is $500 a month and I live on the Island.
 
I hope the lot of you negative pricks winds up in a jam someday and become homeless. Need to be brought out back and beaten with a five iron, teach you not to be disrespectful of others based on appearance.

Hell if the family could scrounge enough to drive up here they could stay in my basement/spare bedroom for free. No family deserves to be homeless, especially when others can help.

Ok, I'll bite. Sure, they look funny and are probably hippies, but we don't know their circumstances. Why does this bother you so much? It isn't as if these folks (assuming the ad is real) are asking for a free ride.

For all you know this guy or his wife was an engineer or programmer or anyone of a million jobs. Teacher, musician, writer, Was he a banker? Unlikely. I dont get why you cast judgment upon him, his wife and his children based off a simple picture (where they look extremely happy and loving mind you)

You have no idea who they are and why they are in this circumstance.

In retrospect, I don't need a picture to judge you. I can tell what kind of person you apparently are.

Are dreds really that rare in the states?

Most of the PHD engineers in my last place of work looked way shaggier than that dude with way nastier dreds/hair and they clear well into 6 figures... They wouldn't even wear a hat to cover it up! Doubt any of them had kids though...
