*DEPRESSED RANT* I'm a 20 year house leech...

*i have a 2.01 gpa
*i'm gonna be a jr in college this fall
*i have no job
*my parents pay for my credit card
*my insurance
*my gas money
*did i mention i have no job? despite my efforts in monster.com
*i woke up at 1pm today
*imma f*cking 20 year old leech
*did i mention my parents work their asses off for $17 an hour?

it's not that i'm a spoiled idiot (maybe i am). I just need a job this summer.... I love my parents and I appreciate what they do for me in my life. I need a job..

LOLmyface!

you're in for a rude awakening when your parents stop paying your credit card bills and everything else.

You could be doing something to better youself and make yourself more marketable (i.e. certs or learning a foreign language).

maybe you should raise that GPA, and make your parents proud of something they work so hard for...

despite my efforts in monster.com

I think you need to redefine "effort". Posting a resume on one website harldy counts as "effort". Have you tried looking through the newspaper? How about your school's job listings? You drive around town and stop at places that you might like to work and ask if you can apply?

That's effort. you haven't done jack sh!t.

have you tried McDonald's? Burger King? Taco Bell? etc...

then NO, you haven't tried everything.

MAybe you won't feel that bad if you could only get your GPA above 3.0. That's the least you can do for them IMHO.

Oh yeah, posting here won't help. 🙂

agreed... anyone can get a job there

I see a deep frier in your future...

Seriously, get off your ass and get SOMETHING.

Face it, you won't be making good money. You have to start somewhere.

Forget Monster, get out & hit the fast food joints.

Flip burgers & cook fries, teach yourself how to work.

You can only go up from there.

Skip the fast food, go work in a warehouse or something. Manual labor will get you in shape, put meat on your bones.

You won't be happy working at Mc's or Wendy's, but a good job driving a forklift or loading trucks will do wonders for your confidence.

Those places are also much less tolerant of lazy f***s who don't know how to work.

He'll fit right in with the high-schoolers in fast food.
