We'll see how many more new threads we get from the car purchase. I think we are at about three so far. I'm looking forward to:

E46 M3 Owners: Factory oil cap good enough, or order a new one?

E46 M3 Owners: Factory shift knob good enough or order new one?

E46 M3 Owners: Factory ashtray good enough or order new one?

yeah, u mad. I don't even know any of your posts.

Thanks for keeping track of me.

An alarm/security is a bit different than basic stuff. I am a little more concerned with it since the paycheck I get is because I understand there are knuckle draggers and opportunists looking to exploit deficiencies.

Don't forget:

2012 Mazda3 owners: Factory coolant good enough or order new one?
2012 Mazda3 owners: Factory color white enough or aftermarket repaint?
2012 Mazda3 owners: Factory air good enough or drive to cali for fresh air?

Good job. I never thought you'd do it. Figured it'd me like that LSx swap you've been talking about for years now. Nice ride. Did you trade the 240?

Wow. Did he seriously buy the car someone recommended then back out of paying the finders fee he volunteered to pay?

Yeah...years :) Economy tanked and my old company went from 200+ to 60 in a couple years. I was never laid off. Now that I found a new job I re-evaluated my options.

I am going to sell the 240SX privately.

Being from Texas, you may want to re-read the posts above.

Yeah someone recommended me the very car I was already looking at.

They may have had issues like you reading, or perhaps were just being helpful with another recommendation.

Either way the car they pushed didn't qualify for Silver Grey or Alpine White so was not part of my Finder's Fee.

I will send him $150 now if you and SA stop posting in garage...being you are so concerned this should be easy for you to accept.

Alky the thing everyone is pissed off about is more that you didn't say one word about it until after the sale. It seems as if you were actually in negotiations to buy this car like you claim and provided a notepad copy/paste for then you definitely would've had some shithead comment right when he recommended it. That's the part that seems so suspect... Again.. especially since you had a finder's fee... Your very next post should've been "nah bra, I got that one on hook already y0" or whatever your one-liner of the month happens to be.

It's completely illogical to make a $500 finders fee thread and then ignore someone's post (like third in the thread) who is obviously going to feel entitled once the car he recommended is purchased.

Everyone here knows you Alky, hell, we've seen your attempts to grow up over the years. No one - absolutely no one is surprised. This kind of crap is completely typical of you. Ultimately whether his car being one shade off in color is not even a factor, in my opinion, since you bought the car. He recommended a car in a thread where you had a finder's fee, and then you happily bought the car a user recommended and then screwed him on the reward. No, wait, finder's fee is cancelled right...

Alky it's about time to grow up. At some point you need to take a step back and realize that when every incident is "you" versus "them" then you're doing something wrong. At first I thought you were an extremely clever troll... Now that I know this is really you it's actually kind of sad.

....And as far as your childish comments about paying people to leave.. You might want to take a look in the mirror, because I have no doubt that we could come up with a massive charity donation to keep you away from AT altogether.

Actually I don't focus on every 'bad' reply...only the ones that go over and beyond like your's. Next it's hardly "everyone"

How so? My finder's fee was $500 for Alpine White...$250 for Silver Gray. the reply was neither. He simply googled or knew what was the next best.

This I have no idea WTF you are talking about.

Like I said I will pay his finder's fee with the backend that you leave, since you are so concerned.

That money would feed cats / animal charities for a week that I pay already.

I think I have been grown up all along, you are like some whining toddler that wants ice cream for dinner instead of proper food and now throwing an online tantrum.

If you realized that you'd never have responded like this. You are the troll here.

What stakes you claiming? I personally send about $15k to charities each year. It's $100 per week just the cat food costs here, not counting my own pets. Not rare for a $500 surgery needed in a month for some stray that ends up hurt I find.

In the end the Finder's Fee response was for a non-Alipine White, and a non-Silver Grey that I was already negotiately for. This was why I mentioned don't reply with anything on AutoTempest.

U R MAD! Get over it. I have no idea what synapse is misfiring in your brain, but I have been nothing but honest on AT. You think somehow I am a troll because you live a craptastic life.

If AT came up with $30k to Paws2Help, Peggy Adams, or another animal charity that can be verified, I'd stop posting here and hope at least some continued it.

I also give $5 or more each time at the grocery store.

Again get over yourself.

Yes years.

Glad to see it worked out well for you. The M3 is a way better choice than hacking up your 240 to sandwich a V8 in it. Plus no scalloping, hehe.

Well the LS engines fit better than stock...still it'd be about $10-20k to make it like a factory car.

I bought my house in 2007, thought the crunch was over (I worked for a top 10 homebuilder that thought the same)...bad times came.

I have re-established myself now. I'd still love 400RWHP in 2700lbs.

Wasting money on cats is not charity. It's some sort of addiction or something.

Steer clear of the cheap CF roundels, they fade like no other. I bought one to replace the washed out front one on mine and it turned yellow within 3 months. Just got an OEM one this past week.

Just say no to CF trim pieces. If I had a light-colored M3 I might get black kidney grills and MAYBE black side vents, but to me CF looks no better in that application than simple black plastic.
