Did it occur to anyone that there's plenty to go around?
You're all fighting over scraps, with a feast in the room.
Immigration needs to be slowed down, but those here are well within our means.

If you are hurting, it's because labor is losing its value. Soon you will witness the beginning of its end.
But the issue before you is not for lack of production... merely the uneven distribution of its bounty.
Immigrants are not holding you back economically, wages are. And that's simply a matter of reaching the cusp of a new age.
We want an amendment that will nullify and replace it with a complete expulsion.

So, uhh, you're gonna make America White again?

The great thing about people who rave the most about immigrants & illegals is that all they know comes from the media. There aren't many of either out there in Trump country other than migrant field workers who come through every year since before any of us were born.

It's easy to fear the unknown & thus to hate it.

I'm not white rather I am a disabled veteran who's tired of seeing people mooch of the sweat of hard working people.

The vast, vast, vast majority of those folks aren't "mooching" and probably work far harder for far less than most of us posting in this forum.

What's the big problem with using social services when you are starting out in a new country? I mean it takes time to adjust to a new environment, learn the language, etc.

Illegal immigrants aren't getting the nice first world gubmint benefits you did for the accomplishment of popping out the right side of the border, and you can't really blame them for wishing that for their kids.

This is true be we have an obligation to our own first and until we can get our own house in order everyone else's needs are secondary at best.

Shouldn't these people come here equipped (financially) to live here? Why should the citizens of any country be required to support newcomers? Learning the language is one thing, (and they should already have at least a basic knowledge of the language...why should we be required to translate for their convenience?) but depending on the new country for financial support? Nah...that's just wrong.

Make the perfect the enemy of the good.

I hope you realize we sure as Hell won't get our house in order w/ Trump & the Repubs.

Normal immigrants have sponsors to help them out & who are responsible for their welfare. Refugees can't possibly meet your requirements.

For the economy of yore... it didn't matter, there was need for labor everywhere and no social services.
In the past generation's economy... declining labor, "start rich and certified or GTFO" attitude, and tons of social services. A drain, sure.
For tomorrow's economy... it won't make a damn bit of difference as long as our population is stable in proportion to GDP.

It's confusing, we don't want immigrants taking our jobs, and we don't want them on welfare. Do we just not want immigrants anymore, or do we just want some rich kids living off their parents money?
