Wow, I was pretty sure the Bronco's were in decent shape as Osweiler was pretty good in Manning's absence. So, back to the drawing board!

I wouldn't have given Osweiler that much money myself so I can't blame Elway. If Osweiler flops in Texas, Elway will be redeemed.

Pretty much. I think they wanted him but they certainly understood that he wasn't quite good enough to be worth the money. He had potential, but you can't put up that money on a gamble. It's better spent trying to keep the defense together as much as possible.

It'll be interesting.
 
All they need to find is a "game manager" QB -- like the Ravens did with Flacco when their defense was dominate. They just need a QB that won't lose the game for them, they don't need one to win it for them.

Fitzpatrick is a great fit.
