Denver has no QB.... HEY! Brady you doing anything next year?

All they need to find is a "game manager" QB -- like the Ravens did with Flacco when their defense was dominate. They just need a QB that won't lose the game for them, they don't need one to win it for them.

Fitzpatrick is a great fit.

Damn, I think you are right.

Let's see who the options are:

Matt Cassel signed
Jimmy Clausen
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Josh Freeman
RG3 (still out there but rumored to the Rams)
Matt Hasselbeck retired
Thad Lewis signed
Colt McCoy signed
Matt Moore
Dan Orlovsky
Brock Osweiler signed
Matt Schaub signed
Drew Stanton signed
Brandon Weeden

Johnny Football? (trade?)
Colin Kaepernick (trade?)

Teams QB Shopping:

DEN
HOU
SF?
PHI
STL
CLE
NYJ
CHI?

Josh Freeman to the rescue!

Or Mike Glennon, whoever comes first.

Oh I like Glennon, too. He'd be cheaper than Freeman or Fitzpatrick and under the right environment (Denver) could be groomed as a legit starter.

Is Peyton still open to staying within the organization under some capacity, or is Elway truly done with him? I would think after the most recent public statements, Peyton probably just wants to get out of Denver altogether. I didn't watch or read any of the recent press events...so apologies if this is already known.

Sam Bradford is available...Eagles can trade Bradford in the next few days with almost zero penalties on their end in terms of cap space or money spent.

No idea, but it sounds like he's not going to be involved in the NFL next season. I imagine he'll take a couple years off, and I doubt he'll be around Denver for long. Wouldn't surprise me if he moved back to Indy or something since that's where 14 of his 18 previous years were at.

Signing Bradford to a two-year, $36 million contract a few days ago would be a very odd way to begin trying to trade him to another team.

I still stand by Fitzpatrick

Isn't there a rule that you need to provide the link?

I'd think New Orleans area so that he can add the Peyton stock to the general Manning compound that they have been cultivating out there.

I like Glennon as well. He's hard to sack and just needs to be a starter in a scheme for a year or so and he'll get very good. The Bucs didn't really give him enough time I thought.

Fitzy will probably be resigned by the Jets but who knows.

Holy fuck we agree on something! 😀

Well they already lost 2 great pieces of that defense: Malik Jackson and Trevathan. If they can keep the secondary + von miller/ware/wolfe then they should still be dominant, but not quite like last year.

John Elway isn't giving in, we've seen this before. He had let Elvis Dumervil go to the Ravens on a technicality "fax machine malfunction". If the players want big money and Elway thinks they're replaceable, they can go somewhere else. I admire that. The Broncos aren't making it to another Super Bowl this year anyway, might as well rebuild. Too many teams are willing to pay big contract for average players in the free agency market.
