Exactly, which is why you don't pay an aging qb $18 in one year, lol.
pretty dumb comment. Does Denver regret giving Manning the contract? Absolutely not, where the hell is Denver without him? Starting Tebow? D:

a) Manning fumbled twice, both the Ravens recovered and the refs saved one.
b) Manning's Pick 6 could have went either way, it was a bang bang play (.5 second or less early on the receiver). Officials aren't going to call that in the playoffs unless it's obvious (1 second or more early on contact).
c) Denver only had 2 TO's (not 3) and B.More had the deep ball on lockdown and Denver didn't want to chance a turnover. B.More loves to ballhawk and it was too risky to pass with B.More knowing that.

That's hard to do since Manning has never led a team to 18-0 record and spent 2008 watching the Super Bowl from his couch.
Because failing to win the Super Bowl is the same as having a losing record in the playoffs...
They got to the same place as last year. That $18 million might have been more useful upgrading elsewhere.
Failing to win a SB when you're 18-0, HEAVILY favored, lauded as perhaps the greatest team in history, and playing a lowly-regarded wildcard team is a bit different than just losing a Super Bowl.
Pats fans want it both ways:
2003/2004 timeframe: "Hahahaha, Manning choked again! Hahahaha, we beat him up twice in the playoffs! Yeah, we were favored, so what?"
and then we have:
2006 AFC Championship: "Reche Caldwell lost it for us!" "It was in a dome!"
SB 42: "It was <insert anyone except Brady>'s fault!" "The Giants got lucky!"
I was talking about taking the knee right before halftime they had 36 seconds and 3 timeouts. They definitely had 3 timeouts I checked again on ESPN.

Manning, a great regular season dome QB and now not even in consideration as one of the great QBs.
edit - oh wait, I'll have to find your post blaming the safety for losing the game. LOL.
The 2006 AFC title game is, without a doubt, Peyton Manning's peak stud moment in the NFL. Even his other games from the 2006 post-season are a complete joke.
SB 42 sucked a lot, but Brady put that team in the position to win by taking the lead late in the game. Can't really ask for more than that from your QB in the SB. The Giants pressured the hell out of Brady all game, which is indeed why it was close. And you have to admit the Tyree play was some of the craziest, luckiest shit ever.
I love watching an aging Manning try to throw on the run, especially left; most amusing. His old man was better QB.
I'm hoping for a 49er/Pats SB, and if SF can play again like they did against Green Bay, they might just beat the Brady Bunch.
Manning was given that superbowl win by an incompetent bears coaching staff, had the bears not abandoned the run in that game they would have won, and Manning would be considered the ultimate choker in clutch games. Instead he is thought to be good because of it, but really he is a choker who was given a game by an opponent.
Eli on the other hand is clutch and a winner, he may not have the stats, but football is about winning.
They went up to New England just a few weeks ago and beat them. SF has a monster of a team when clicking on all cylinders.

You'd think after your god blew it once again in the playoffs, you'd stop posting your stupidity. But whatever makes you feel better while the rest of us laugh. Manning, a great regular season dome QB and now not even in consideration as one of the great QBs.

Oh, I struck a cord. Don't worry, being the laughingstock of the 18-1 tier of teams isn't all bad. Take comfort in knowing that just about everyone outside of New England had an incredible night of laughs and entertainment when they lost. I literally fell on the floor laughing and thought I was going to die. Take comfort that your team gave me the best laugh I may have ever experienced! Maybe one day Belichick will get another defense and Tom can join the pantheon of QBs (like Jim McMahon) who led an 18-1 team to a world championship!

Seriously though, you are amusing several of us across different forums. Keep crying about Reche Caldwell while we point and laugh. Even Patriots fans are laughing and making fun of you. Only you would say "He isn't in consideration as one of the great QBs."
For your sake, I hope the Patriots win the SB. Really, I do. Because if Tommy Boy chokes for the third time in a row, I'm afraid you Pats fans won't know what to do except dive into Boston Harbor, and it is a little cold for that.
"Reche Caldwell! Waaaaah! Reche Caldwell! Waaaaah!"
For one, unlike you (Reche Caldwell! Waaaah! Reche Caldwell! Waaah!), I am not blaming the safety solely for the loss. The safety definitely made a HORRIFIC play that caused OT. The Broncos played 3 deep to prevent a bomb to end the game and a safety whiffed on the receiver and let him run by. The defense sucked the whole game and yes, Manning made a very bad decision in OT.
I'm sure you like to blame Manning for this loss due to his INT in OT, while completely and totally ignoring the choke INT Brady threw in the AFC Championship that clinched it for the Colts. That's the kind of PatsFanLogic(tm) we all love to laugh at.
Blahblahblah
You've degraded yourself to a billowing bag of flaming shit, 1st of all Brady AND Manning did what they are paid to do, MOVE THE TEAM AND SCORE, it's a team game, was Manning supposed to run on the field during the worst display of pass defense in recorded history and stop that play that tied the game??, no, HE DID HIS JOB AND GOT HIS TEAM A LEAD LATE IN THE 4TH Qtr. Brady, no matter what or who is "favored" did his job and DROVE HIS TEAM DOWN FOR THE GO-AHEAD SCORE, was he supposed to run onto the field and intercept the ball that went RIGHT THROUGH A. Samuall's hands? A teams D has to show up and make plays when the offense hands them the lead, plain and simple. Despite numerous sacks and pummeling Brady kept getting back up and trying his best, what else can you ask?, OL picked a bad day to replicate a subway turn-stile..
I'd quote you for your idiocy but it's already been done. You are so bitter and jealous that you'll always find a way to take some cheap shot at NE. Do you see anyone making fun of Indy for sucking against the Ravens? No. But I'm sure, if NE loses this weekend, you'll make some wiseass remark. Why b/c you're a jealouse who has his ass up Mr. 9-11 in the playoffs PM.
Too funny, you must cry at night when PM loses another playoff game when they are overwhelming favorites, playing at home in one of the toughest stadiums to play but poor little dome boy can't play in the cold. Just imagine if PM played his career outdoors in a cold region. LOL.
And yes, any intelligent football fan would be able to identify single plays in a game that could win/lose a game. Oh wait, you just did! LOL. Dude, you're a hypocritically joke. And I sure do blame Brady when he does stupid shit but your head is up PM's ass to notice anybody else's comments. If NE goes to the SB again, I'll be six times in how many years? And if they lose, I guess it's better than losing in the first round when you're overwhelming favorites? Oh wait, you're a loser. You're happier to lose before than even get into the SB. You've been watching too much PM and must be just as content as him. Just be happy that NE choked and allowed PM to win one SB.
Sucks to be a fan of the lesser Manning. A good, not great dome QB. 😛

You shit talked the Ravens saying they had no chance against your bromance lover Peyton Manning. Judging from the above post, it ironically seems like you will be the Ravens biggest fan come Sunday. My how the tables have turned.
