a) Manning fumbled twice, both the Ravens recovered and the refs saved one.
b) Manning's Pick 6 could have went either way, it was a bang bang play (.5 second or less early on the receiver). Officials aren't going to call that in the playoffs unless it's obvious (1 second or more early on contact).
c) Denver only had 2 TO's (not 3) and B.More had the deep ball on lockdown and Denver didn't want to chance a turnover. B.More loves to ballhawk and it was too risky to pass with B.More knowing that.

Did you forget Manning's second interception?

And Champ Bailey didn't throw 2 interceptions...

No, Champ Bailey and the Denver D just gave up 30+ points. No big deal!

My understanding was that the first INT was tipped by the receiver and was then picked off. Is that correct? Granted Manning threw a bad INT in OT, but the Broncos D collapsed at the worst possible time.

his pass in ot shouldn't have even happened. that bomb with 30 seconds should have been intercepted. terrible pass with terrible coverage. but as usual flacco got bailed out due to some flukeness.

at least now broncos fans know how i felt during the first meeting of the skins/giants.

Manning shouldn't have made the throw. No doubt he made a bad play.

So Manning was playing CB for the Broncos?

Manning had a kick and a punt return to back him up. That's 14 He underperformed.

Face it people, getting an expensive, aging QB who spent most of his career in a dome and who had consistent trouble in cold weather was a bad bet for a team in DENVER, lol.

0-3 in sub 40 degree weather, on top of a history of choking in the playoffs.

I'm sure Manning is going to lead denver through a great regular season next year, and will probably earn a bye in the playoffs. Then they'll probably lose in their first game after the bye, like Manning usually does.

Of course, they weren't stupid enough to spend a #2 pick on a mobile qb and then running his knee into the ground. That was the worst set of decisions of the 2012 season.

I'll wait to pass judgment on both of these decisions until those careers are over. Statistically speaking, I believe Manning was playing fine until the last INT.

You mean in sudden-death overtime when they held the Ravens scoreless for a quarter while potential-MVP Manning failed to drive the Broncos even into field goal range and then eventually choked away the game?

no he is talking about the 4th quarter when there was 30 seconds left.

He was playing 'fine' but nowhere near an $18 million qb. Denver thought spending a ton of money on a premier qb would get them to the superbowl, and he played meh for most of the game before throwing a game destroying pick.

A couple of those millions could have upgraded the bronco's secondary more, lol.

Bailey was burned how many times? Everyone keeps stating "Ha, ha, future HOFer Manning lost the game" but ignores that likely future HOFer Bailey couldn't stop anything. Also:

The asterisk, of course, is that Denver safety Rahim Moore made one of the all-time dumb plays in a playoff game. His job, as one of the three deep safeties on the field with 40 seconds left and a seven-point lead and the Ravens 70 yards from the end zone, was to make sure he didn't let anyone get behind him. And Moore did. He was either lazy or had a lapse in concentration, and Jacoby Jones beat cornerback Tony Carter and Moore for the 70-yard touchdown that led to a six-quarter game, the fourth-longest in NFL history.

He had 3 turnovers that he was directly responsible. The Broncos almost won despite his play, not because of it. I hate him, and I miss last year when he wasn't playing.

They only gave up 28 points in Regulation. 7 points were on Manning's pick-6.

Also, if Manning had manage to lead a drive into field goal range in the OT period when the Broncos D held the Ravens scoreless for 15 minutes, before Manning's chokeception, they would have won.

It shouldn't be to much to expect the $20 million QB, and potential 2012 NFL MVP, to lead a FG drive in OT.

that one tipped to pick 6 was a missed defensive Pass Interference.

though I agree

he got spotted 14 pts on returns. he should have been able to beat the ravens

To be fair, it wasn't like Moore got beaten by some scrub... Jacoby Jones is fast and going to the Pro Bowl. Yes, Moore blew his assignment but he didn't have the easiest assignment.
