Here comes the whine fest. You didn't care when Techs/jpeyton/etc. spammed the forum.

What a little pussy (you and all the other whiners in this and every "right wing" thread as of late).

Don't like it, leave, as the mods are always happy to tell us. Don't let the door hit ya where FSM split ya.

Spoken as though the resident righties weren't whining about techs and jpeyton.

The liberal whining in this thread is epic. Like they forgot the last 8 years existed. Not posting on this forum as much because it isnt littered with lefty troll threads bashing Bush lmao.

As opposed to being extremely disappointed right now. Seems they have no where to turn.
Well if they were expecting an immediate turn around or even things to stop getting worse in such a short period of time then yes they should be extremely disappointed. I'm not jumping up for joy myself but after the last Admin I know that the Republicans sure as hell aren't the answer.

Nope. It's long past time to get outside the two-party box. Or prison cell, really.

This. Unfortunately people have short memories.

To a large extent Independents are unhappy with Washington Grid lock.

And yes, there are independents that no longer have as much faith in Obama and the democrats as they used to. Which shows up in polling data.

If the departing independents were defecting to the GOP, it would be a democratic worry, the problem for the GOP is that they lose independent support even faster.

The other problem is that the GOP does not know what it is and has not defined itself. On one hand, the GOP can't be for the failed stinking turd policies of GWB, yet at this point in time, that seems to be all the GOP knows. And to add to the confusion, the GOP has no platform its defined, and hence the elephant knows nothing but milling around and dragging its feet. In short, the GOP is nothing but a split in to two pieces dead weight and a negative force.

And an independent is largely an independent because they are unhappy with whole dogma of both political parties. The GOP's problem with independents is that will not attract any independents until they define themselves as a positive and not a purely negative force. And when half of the GOP are Palinites and the other half are Cainanites, it gives the GOP a psycho split personality.

Meanwhile...despite all the usual childish P&N bickering...independents are leaving in droves. I predict a wake-up call in 2010.

Very possible, but more owing to the demographics of who votes in midterm elections, namely, older whites, than some seizmic shift in policy. Obama won't be on the ticket bringing other more diverse and younger constituencies to the ballot box and dems will suffer as a result.

And despite the dems losing some steam, ind's still want very little to do with the republican party, and in recent months disapproval of the GOP has risen MORE than disapproval for dems.

As to unemployment, the biggest nagging point, it steadily rose from 6 to 10% under Reagan over his first 3 years in office, and then declined. So for those wondering how unemployment somehow hasn't dropped in 10 months, your expectations of immediate turnaround don't gel with history.

this is very typical of P&N. ATTACK the messenger and ignore the message. frankly im pretty fucking sick of it.

i really don't care if it was a cut/paste posting, it doesn't make the story by politico less interesting or "SPAM".

thank you OP for posting that.

Craig never spam posted like PJABBERjaw and PaTrollUs are and have been. Techs spam posting was short lived. IIRC Dave was never a big spam poster and still isn't. He was away for quite a while for that matter.

Are you nuts, his Drive For 5 thread will live eternally as the poster child for spam posting. He had a new oil thread almost every week in Bush's last year in office.

lots of buyers remorse. they found out a popularity contest doesn't elect a worth while president.

this forum generally pisses me off way too much to peruse it regularly, but i must ask-

where are the liberal/democrat trolls? do you people not notice that all the silly cut and paste partisan shit-stirring posts are always from the right?

give me a break, why would anyone intelligent even bother arguing with these people.

Geez no kidding! I mean, the left never cut/paste articles and add commentary in this forum! I mean, can you imagine! Reading an article about something, copying the link and the text, and creating a thread about it! AAAACCCKKKKK

WTF is wrong with you people?
