Someone said something about this being unconstitutional by violating the 4th and 5th amendments.
Very informative, any idea who said what about why it could be unconstitutional?

Yeah I would call that a gaffe by Dodd. Obviously nobody can predict the future, but yeah terrible word choice by a politician, who of all things, should understand that perception is paramount in your words.
These thick bills just magically appear in dc and the congressmen/women just push donkey or elephant buttons attached to their seats.
With a 2,000 page bill it's a given that no one knows everything that is in it, and that most people voting on it probably don't know anything about 1,990 pages of it. Personally I think any Congresscritter voting "YES" on a bill he or she (or it, in the case of Barney Frank) has not completely read and understood should be immediately recalled. This "Pass it and let's see what it does" shit gives us Hugo Chavez.Sadly, that's close to the truth.
Lobbyists write lengthy bills that never get read or understood by those doing the voting, and then the vote based on campaign support.
2000 pages, I'm sure there isn't a single loophole in there that will come back to bite us in the ass 5 years from now.![]()
