High-ranking career Democrats don't face a bleak future. Even if they lose re-election they land cushy jobs. The same goes for Republicans. It's a revolving door when your job is being a face for the man.

Yeah I see that. Not surprising Intellectuals need to cling to that for why Billary got smoked. Why self-reflect when doubling down on Intellectual is so much easier lol

Trump's win was strictly technical, based on the electoral college. Smoked isn't the word to use.

Why do you seem to have an obsession with rolling out the word intellectual to begin with ?

Then keep asking for people to think harder ? Trump won the EC, which should have been trashed long ago.

How Pam Bondi was a member of the Electoral College to begin with amazed me if that was true, she is a bigger airhead than Sarah Palin.

And what's "bad" about Dem proposals? Well, other than the "rewarding bad behavior" song & dance. I mean, if St Ronnie could do it, why can't modern Repubs?

Hell- Dems would settle for permanent resident status for the parents of American children & others who've been here a long time & kept their noses clean. We'd also settle for work visas for migrant farm workers, as well.
Reagan was wrong to grant amnesty.

Yes, America is a nation built by immigrants, my family itself being relatively new to this country. However, the situation on our southern border is a bit unique in that many nations south of it are becoming extended welfare states by mere convenience of sending people over a physical border.

The problem is the disparity of wealth and quality of life. Europe is now starting to face this same dynamic.

Do we want workers on a guest visa program or do we want new citizens integrated into and enriching our society? Right now we have this uneven policy of neither.

Despite what brietbart might convince you of, illegal immigrants collect a lot less handouts than their flyover audience. Employing noobs working for cheap (or even free) as a useful underclass buffer is nothing new, even if more pigmentation makes said audience queasy. I mean, better them than you, amiright?

I'm going to create an app that routes people (probably democrats) to the fastest, best and most scenic destinations to commit suicide. As far as I know this is a completely untapped market that will greatly go up in value with Trump as president.
But will Democrats commit suicide if there are costs involved without a government subsidy?

$24.4B in remittances to Mexico. That trend extends throughout Central America. It is not so much a pigmentation problem as it is a geographic and economic disparity problem.

A rising tide raises all ships. The status quo is we've created a network of satellite welfare states, although admittedly the age of colonialism, Manifest Destiny and Cold War interventionary politics set the stage for many of these problems.

And now we have people like you taking what is an economic equation and constantly making it a racial one.

Hibachi Ryder the predictable concern troll brings the heat with his totally original "both sides do it!" argument...
*Sigh*
Tiresome
Isn't this a bit like the pot calling the kettle black? Do as I say and not as I do indeed. You've got more angle than a ginsu knife and are wearing a pair of blinders that even a jackass can appreciate.

What happened in Mexico is that as a result of NAFTA, us agricultural products put a whole lot of Mexican farmers out of business. They came up here looking for work.

That's part of the issue. Cheap subsidized American corn even sparked a revolution in Chiapas.

Anyone that thinks Trump was offering anything remotely like a New Deal is in for a rude wake up call.

Of course not. He was promising them that America Capitalism would be great again. "Trust me you'll be rich, I know about being rich".
Which is the only definitive and clear economic message anyone heard in 2016.

Seem pretty racial to me when conservatives start counting remittances as welfare when they'd never consider it for where/how white people keep or spend their money.

No, Trump's win was strictly actual, based on reality. Better luck next time.

What a country, huh? It's a place where one presidential candidate can lose by 2.8M votes & still become president because some voters are more equal than others.
