Most mensans consider themselves Libertarian. Most successful business people are Republican. Most college professors who live off of government handouts vote Democrat. Actually any individual who lives off of government handouts votes Democrat.

Someone sent me this link and it ticked me off. Please note that if Baltimore didn't exist Bush would have won Maryland easily.

*ahem* *cough*

wro...

WRONG FORUM!!! :|

:p

Actually I think anyone who adopts a prepackaged set of political beliefs without thinking each through in turn is being lazy and could stand a little mental exercise. Most who do will end up independants.

Big words from someone who can't even use English correctly.

Democrats are not a party, they are members of the Democratic party.

Yes, of course that chart is bogus -- you actually thought it was real? And don't confuse IQ with education -- they don't go hand in hand.

While I can't cite any phony graphs, I can say it's been my experience that the OP is correct. People in poverty and of little education often vote Democratic, as they are promised handouts from that party's leaders. Conversely, people who own companies, or have a substantial amount of money they've earned through daily work vote Republican to receive the tax breaks.

That isn't to say if you vote Republican you're necessarily smarter, or vice versa. Simply, the two parties offer different incentives to different groups of people to try to get their vote. No party is "better" than the other; they just have different priorities and agendas. Who you side with is based on your limited perceptions and needs -- nothing more.

Even if this was true, you can bet all Libertarians are voting Democrat after this administration.

Argh. I know I'm being trolled... :)

Democrats: Formerly the party of labor, teachers, and unions. Now hoodwinked and 90% under corporate control.

Republicans: Party of management, wealth, and "Christian Right". 110% corporate controlled.

Independants: Idealists hoping that we can revive this country before we go the way of Rome.

Sorry for the spelling... Typing fast before this is locked! :D
