Don't threaten me with a good time! Fucking kick out those useless fucks like Jeffries, let's clean out this decrepit party!

I agree that we need to clean house, but are you really being honest to sit there and place the blame on Jeffries, when the shit show started long before he became democrat house leader in 2023? It's like handing him a bag of shit, and then turning around and blaming him for what's inside the bag. I know you have been foaming at the mouth for months blaming the democrats for everything, and want to target the person (democrat) in the "hot seat" even though that person really had the least to do with the problem, that started long before he was left holding the bag, as you ignore those that are really the people at fault. But seriously, you need to get a fucking grip on reality, starting by getting the blood of anger out of your eyes, constantly wanting to lash out at every Democrat in office, blaming them for everything.

Did you have a fainting couch handy so you can clutch your pearls and swoon after posting that?
This trash is nothing but a tantrum, it fills your need to lash out because you didn't get your way. It's childish, it's stupid, and it goes nowhere. Half the nation decided democrats suck, that put Trump in the white house, now all you clowns can do is stroke each others damaged egos and blame those dirty republican's.
So how about you just fuck right off and don't bother me with your sniveling anymore, call your mom and cry to her.
Fuck off, Nazi.

I in no way blame Jeffries for the deep rot and incompetence in the Dem establishment, it is before his time. I don't think I said anything to imply that though. However, he sure as shit is a part of it now. Now that is what I did imply.

Primary his ass. Vote blue no matter who right Hakeem you fuck? Not when it's an ACTUAL progressive. Also, thanks for ordering the Dems to stay polite during Donnie's first SOTU, you fucking imbecile.

is this the current feeling over at the dnc and the rest of the liches in charge?

Most Democrats seem to have fallen in line behind Mamdani and it's just a handful of weirdos and the NYT who are being noisy about not supporting him, but some people just can't resist the allure of "Dems in Disarray" for that sweet social media clout.

It's also pretty weird to stay on Twitter or browse it after the white supremacist owner prominently made the AI super racist and antisemetic.

Most Dems have fallen in line with Mamdani? So which big Dem establishment pols have endorsed him, and how many are speaking out against Dem establishment members, whether past or present, proposing collaborating between Cuomo/Adams and even Sliwa, to take Mandani out?

I mean I havent' seen any sign of this unified support of Mandani, or anything even remotely close, but I'd love to see it. Post some links. I'd love to see this Dem establishment that has moved on from shutting AOC out of a powerful position for a dying guy that died. Personally, I think you are full of shit, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Here are some articles that back me up in saying you are full of shit - and you have a long history of backing up the most corrupt Dem establishment actions and people so I am not surprised.

From earlier today: progressives lobbying all the major Dem establishment figures in NY state to endorse Mamdani. Not one has. I mean come on, we all know this. Why do you try to spread propaganda in a maga like cult like slavish devotion, except to the failed Dem establishment? I know you can be better. But that's what you just did.

"A dozen Indivisible chapters wrote Wednesday to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Gov. Kathy Hochul and other senior party members, demanding they formally back the democratic socialist, POLITICO first reported.

“The party should be celebrating and analyzing this win as we prepare for the fight of our political lives in 2026,” the left-leaning signatories wrote in their letter. “At a time when Democrats have struggled to connect with voters and build credibility, supporting and learning from Mr. Mamdani’s playbook is paramount.”

The influential Working Families Party, which endorsed Mamdani as its first choice, is turning up the pressure as well. The state lawmaker slightly expanded his 12-point lead over former governor Andrew Cuomo in the most updated city Board of Elections results.

“It’s time for every Democratic leader to get on board,” New York co-director Jasmine Gripper told POLITICO, pointing out that Mamdani is supported by fellow state assemblymembers from across the Democratic spectrum. “The Mamdani tent is big enough for everyone. Any leader who is serious about building a base of energized voters and wins would be smart to join us.”

Additionally, Our Revolution, founded after Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign, has been circulating a petition saying, “Tell Dem leaders: Don’t sabotage Mamdani.” It had 30,000 signatures as of Tuesday night.

But the signals from those leaders have been that they’ll work at their own pace. And no endorsements are guaranteed.

Jeffries said he and Mamdani are set to meet next week. Schumer is also planning to eventually meet with the Queens lawmaker, his spokesperson said, but no date has been set. Hochul, Mamdani and their teams are in regular communication, the governor has said."

I think that actually benefits AOC in the long haul.. she's still seen as an outsider

Dems underwater with indies and overall compared to GOP. Let that sink in.

Yea, you have to work pretty hard to get an approval rating lower than Trump. The Dems have to get over this belief they can win simply because people don't like Trump or some of his methods. They actually have to make people believe that their policies will actually make their life better, and not just some special group, but the working and middle classes as a whole.

I dunno. Labour didn't have to do that to win against the Tories. Starmer got in with a huge majority without having to promise to make anything better for anybody. And, sure enough, they aren't making anything better for anybody (but themselves)

-We'll a substantial minority of Dems went from "Trump is essentially Hitler" to goose shit stepping boot licker at the drop of a hat after he was elected and seem to not understand the concept of an "opposition party".

They're basically betting that the 1/3 of Americans who didn't vote will show for them, and a substantial portion of their 1/3 "loyal" voters will show up too just because Trump is such a moron it's better to let his self destructive policies play out than to actually try and oppose him.

Problem is by the time 2026 rolls around, if we're not flat out deporting political opposition Trump doesn't like at that point, Dems will run into the same issue with having 1/3 of Americans stay home again cause no one f'ing remembers there is an opposition party.

NGL, I feel like the "managed opposition" trap got sprung and the Dems with some notable exceptions are going just as mask off as the Pubs, but in a less bombastic way.

-Fuckwits and fossiles at the DNC will take the wrong lesson and fight less and bend the knee more and alienate their base even further.
I don't know if they'll fight less, continue to focus on the wrong things, message poorly, or pick horrible candidates. Or some combination of the above.

Whatever they decide, it'll be the wrong thing regardless.

Saw an interview with Beto O'Rourke on PBS yesterday and was impressed by his plain spokenness about issues in the Democratic party.

Called out Chuck and the continuing resolution, insisted blue states need to start gerrymandering like red states, start fighting fire with fire cause the nation is on the line.

Most importantly Dems need to really outline their economic platform for the working stiff.

Dunno the caliber of pol Beto is, but the Dems need more straight shooters like him.

Unfortunately he's basically unelectable on the national level because he couldn't win any statewide offices in texas. he was a 2 time house rep i think? very outspoken and I like him though.

- Policy? No.

What you can do for them in simple terms to make their lives suck less? Absolutely.

How many people voted for Trump only because "he'll make things cheaper" with absolutely 0 critical examination of how he would fulfill that promise?
There was a whole candidate platform and prior presidency devoted to making things materially better for people. I don't think materialism is something that really translated for people in a fractured media environment driven by vibes delivered by algorithm.
