So you wanted another 3.4 trillion added to the deficit and grandmas who have been in the country 47 years arrested at home and deported? You want to pay more for things because of tariffs? You wanted millions of people to starve and contract HIV? You wanted millions to lose their health care and food assistance? You wanted PFAS regulations rolled back?
You wanted the American solar industry gutted?
Greenman got his. everyone else can literally fuck off and die.

No sin in voting for the person you want in office. No sin in the losing side whining about it. It's been that way as far back as I can remember.
Maybe you'll get lucky and the democrats will come up someone electable in 28.
So would you say that the people who put Hitler in office bear no responsibility for the Holocaust and WW2?

  • Jan 6th insurrection.
  • Exploding deficits so the rich can pay fewer taxes.
  • Americans under siege and under assault by federal forces.
  • The militarization of our streets.
  • Greatest tax increase on working Americans in American history (Tariffs).
  • The systematic and widespread destruction of all institutions and safety regulations.
  • The mass bankruptcy of our farmers so Big Corp can take their land.
The country as you remember, you already killed.
These actions are by your vote, thus your will and your hand. They are your sins.
You already fucked around. May you live long enough to find out.

Great post until you said the above. These people are not capable of growing a conscious. So let's avoid this kind of sentiment about living long. We need these people to disappear from our society so we can evolve as humans because they are incapable

Is it not a sin when you vote someone into office knowning he will commit sinful, immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional acts that you support? Doing so makes you an accomplice, which makes you just as quilty as committing the acts yourself, because the person you vote for, is a representation of you, who you want to carry out what you want and support. Claiming it's not a sin to vote these people into office is equivelant to saying you are not guility of murdering someone when hiring a hitman to take out someone, because you just paid the guy, you didn't actually commit the actual act. When it comes to voting, you are chosing who you want to represent you and do your will.

Did you have a fainting couch handy so you can clutch your pearls and swoon after posting that?
This trash is nothing but a tantrum, it fills your need to lash out because you didn't get your way. It's childish, it's stupid, and it goes nowhere. Half the nation decided democrats suck, that put Trump in the white house, now all you clowns can do is stroke each others damaged egos and blame those dirty republican's.
So how about you just fuck right off and don't bother me with your sniveling anymore, call your mom and cry to her.

How many species on Earth have gone extinct that we'll never even know about?

We're just an irrelevant speck of dust in the grand scheme of things. Compared to other animals, we were just smart enough to ensure our own destruction.

And the planet cried out, "Good riddance!"

.Half the nation decided democrats suck, that put Trump in the white house,
Trump got less than half the votes in an election with 64.1% turnout of registered voters, so less than a third of registered voters voted for Trump, his share of the total population as a percentage of votes was under 23%.

These are the facts and yes Trump did receive a plurality of votes and won the election. But you don't get to make shit up like "Half the nation decided democrats suck" because from a math perspective that is false.

Also @Greenman which of these policies did you vote for?

So you wanted another 3.4 trillion added to the deficit and grandmas who have been in the country 47 years arrested at home and deported? You want to pay more for things because of tariffs? Because they were spelled out by Republicans and Trump as goals during the election.

You might want to grab a dictionary and learn what a tantrum is.

It's clear from your outburst, that I hit a nerve, which shows it's getting harder for you to come up with new lies so you can continue to avoid the truth of your choices and actions. Maybe you should also look up denial and projection, so you understand what you are doing. Maybe seek some help, or at least you might want to step back and do some serious soul searching. Because your angry response, shows you know you committed a serious sin, voting for Trump. Otherwise there would be no reason for you to lash out like this. You are the one who said voting wasn't a sin, I just counterd with the truth. So who's throwing a tantrum and lashing out? Not me buddy.

Just to be clear, 33% of the eligible voters, or 22% of the population is NOT half of the nation. The fact that you think so, pretty much sums up the lie you are living and the bullshit you are pushing. There is only one person between the two of us, who committed the sin of voting for a rapist, 34 count felon, criminal, unlawful, immoral, inhumane, dishonest, lying, treasonious bastard, to represent them as the President of this nation, and it sure the hell was NOT me. So maybe you need to man up, and stop lashing out, and face the truth.

edit:
here, to save you the time (It's okay if you feel a little foolsih and embarrassed):

tan·trum
/ˈtantrəm/

noun
noun: tantrum; plural noun: tantrums
  1. an uncontrolled outburst of anger and frustration, typically in a young child.

Rationalize all you want, but the Dems were so horrible that enough voters believed that a despotic, egotistic, melomaniac got elected. Even now, with Trump's approval rating dropping, the latest figures I have seen show the Dems with horrible approval ratings, far below Trump. And yes, your math may be statistically correct, but really is not the point.

I think that says more about the voters than the candidate. It's more "Dems gave us no other choice" logic that's entirely irrational.

If you believe in democracy but vote for a fascist..if you believe in helping your neighbor but vote to strip your neighbors of food and healthcare...do you really believe those things?

Whatever do you imagine finding out means, in the context of MAGA Nazis?
Perhaps you have a cheerier outlook on our imminent future than I do...

For context:
The Germans found out.
Now it is our turn.

This is an embarrassing response and you should feel embarrassed. There was no secret what Trump and his administration would do, they said it over and over again. You saw what happened during his last presidency and you saw what happened every time Republicans take control: tax breaks for the richest people in the country, breaking social service systems and protections that ordinary Americans rely on, restricting freedoms, fucking the economy and increasing the debt. Project 2025 spelled out exactly what the Trump administration would do. Trump was boosted by the people who created it and his vice presidential pick wrote the forward to it and vocally supported it until they had to pretend it wasn't the plan because of how god-awful it was. You heard Trump tell insane lies and say insane things like "they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats" and go into dementia fogs. Be a man and take some fucking responsibility for your choice.

The planet didn't cry out. It just echoes your own misery. Our self destruction is assured by our own inner misery and the unconscious desire to end it. It has nothing to do with smartness. It has to do with fear of the truth of what we really feel.

Perhaps being called a sinner didn't agree with him. Do you see any reason why someone might not respond positively to that? Personally, I found you to be much the same, convinced you were being misrepresented by me. You probably feel the same about this.

Clearly you don’t understand the definition of “rationalize”. I just stated some simple mathematical facts and policy outcomes that Trump campaigned on.

If you can point me to a reply I made to you in our recent exchanges with the same level of vitriol while refusing to engage with the substance of any single thing you said as Greenman has done here, I would like to know about it. Greenman didn't engage whatsoever with the point NWRMidnight was making, which was having some level of responsibility for the choice he made. Greenman is of course free to throw his binkie out of his pram instead of behaving like an adult and engaging in conversation.

For some voters, yes, I would agree. However, I dont think a lot of voters really wanted that, to the extent of, and in the autocratic way, that Trump is doing it. Besides that, things are difficult socially and economically right now. Those with established lives, who own a home, have a job and some assets are OK, actually have done quite well. However, those just starting out are looking at very intimidating circumstances: expensive homes, high cost of living in a lot of other areas, international unrest, and possibly student debt. People who are scared and hopeless, justified or not, are susceptible to blaming others and wanting a scapegoat, and to wanting to turn things back to a time when things were perceived to be better. Of course, Trump and his allies were also extremely effective in tapping in to this malaise, exploiting it effective in social media and the right wing "news" media. So ultimately, yes, the voters are to blame, but the response is somewhat understandable. The Dems also were very ineffective in mounting a response to the Republican talking points.

OK, maybe you arent rationalizing. Perhaps that was my projection of your thought process. The point still stands that although your facts may be correct, effectively they are irrelevant, since Trump got elected. It is like losing a Super Bowl by 1 point or 30. Doesnt really matter, you still lost. There is also no way to know how the non-voters in fact feel or would have voted.
