Well there are three options, right?

1. the existing Democrat party takes a hard progressive left
2. a new progressive parry forms and the Democrat party dies
3. a new progressive party forms and splits the Democrat party further.

If youre already losing, option 3 is basically the status quo. Might as well roll the dice with options 1 or 2

The issue is that the current dem party is getting too corrupted that is practically another Republican Party and that is not viable for progressives in the dem party.

Most of the Democrats I know are disgusted with their party, but that has nothing to do with them going Republican, the GQP is evil to them.
 
I read more about Newsom and the Billionaire one-time asset tax. I see his point. His point is it's a bad call when it only happens in one state. It needs to be on the federal level otherwise California would be the only state facing retribution for it. I do agree with that. If he runs for president, if we have an election, on a federal level billionaire tax, I'm all in on that.

Something no establishment Dem would do for sure.
 
People made to feel worthless in childhood, could find relief from abuse only by conformity to the ethos of the dominate herd. Any change in the approved norms in the herd around then will modify their own behavior. The result, of course, for the close observer is the realization that the any depth to the moral character of most people is absent with the result that any depth to their self awareness will bring self revulsion and self disgust, the very feelings their Stockholm behaviors were there to avoid in the first place.

This is why those who do not know how worthless they were actually made to feel are so dangerous. Their sacred beliefs are ego identifications built upon empty shells. People who feel worthless act that way. Everything that manifest externally is there to protect them from feeling, knowing directly and without doubt, what was done to them.

We become what we fear and what we fear is to be called worthless. So we live in a world where what is hated above all else is people who are real.
 
The resignations of Miller, Homan, Bondi, Noem, and Bovino should occur before Senate Dems start to negotiate on DHS funding.

That’s the starting point. If not fuck it let the government shut down. Better the economy burn than people continue to be murdered and government officials blatantly lying about it.

Agreed. And start it off right with getting attention to the truth and your position, in clear language. Big press conference, united Democratic front as in a lot of Dems including all leadership - call this shit out in very plain language not your usually bullshit words, show many videos of all the abuse and crime Ice is doing rampantly, call out the pedophile protector and his distractions, literally his infantile narcissistic toddler obsession with Greenland, and do the goddamn right thing. Make it crystal clear what this is about. Shame the media for not showing these videos too. Call for massive peaceful protest as well. Lead protests.

Yes because elections are state level. Defunding DHS and Ice via a partial government shutdown would keep them from interfering with the election.

That said the Dems will likely fold like a cheap suit.

Our only hope is the rest of the world tells the US to fuck off and implode our economy. The only way the basket full of deplorables and Trumps billionaire benefactors will jump ship is if the US economy starts to collapse.
