I got mine for $496 shipped and then because they messed up on one of the coupons the rep gave me a $35 coupon off any purchase. Well the coupon didn't work so the next rep I got apologized and gave me a $75 off coupon!! So basically I got the monitor for $421 shipped or $496 plus $75 bucks worth of stuff I was needing anyway, however you want to look at it! Dell rocks.

I jumped on the $507 deal but wished I got the $486 one. I guess the $21 difference is small. I'm really happy with my 2005FPW!

Wait 3-4 weeks and you'll probably see another < $500 special. As I recall, there was one in late November, late December, and one in late Feb/early March. Don't recall if there was one in January or not but I wouldn't be surprised if there was.

OH MY GOD! Could it be possible that rasputinj(with 2845 posts) was sleeping all these times? People bought these monitors UNDER $500 two months ago. It was a big thing on AnandTech hot deal form.
