There are no PATA connections. SATA only. I wouldn't even try adding a PCI IDE card.

Then, I would assume the Windows 2000 drivers would work with Windowx XP.

Crucial is wrong.

I have tried non-ECC memory in this model. It'll boot to BIOS, but gives an ECC error afterwards.
