Dell Home has the Dazzle 6 in 1 USB media card reader for $40. Find the code for 10% off and send in the $20 rebate. Final price is $16 + shipping.

It can read SmartMedia, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, IBM Microdrive, SD Card, MultiMediaCard.

<< pls include price in the title.
different offer now and qualify for a new deal.

According to you every time Dell comes up with a new coupon we should repost every single deal ever posted ?
Get a life newbie..... $2 more is not a hot deal

I need to get in on this one badly, but don't know how to get the 10% off. The coupon codes in the FW thread don't seem to work. Do I have to register as a small business at the Dell site for that? I'd appreciate it very much if someone could pm me about this or email me at gardtek@hotmail.com?

Also, is the rebate still valid? The rebate form here expired on 2/28/02.

Thanks,
gard

What I mean is you can't say it is a repost if only because it is the same product, look into the product and the offer, if they are both same, that is repost, if even the rebate period changed, that is a back deal. Whoever recover it deserve the credit. If you look into your thread about the rebate, the promotion is between dec 2001 and feb 2002. It is not currently covered. I don't know if there is another $20 rebate around now or not, but if yes, this is another story from that one. Do you mean if anyone post a deal about this kind of reader becomes a repost?

Everytime there is new coupon, not everyone knows it and how to use it to get a hot deal, if you refer back your deal first, you deserve the credit, but if someone else did it, that is good too. That is why we are here. If you want the credit to become some fancy member, I understand, but for me, I come to save my money and others too. I can easily make 500 posts in several days to become senior or charter, whatever it calls. But doesn't make sense to me. And this time, the final cost is $2 less than that one, compare to final cost, I can say it is hotter. (actually, if you look carefully into that thread, the calculation for the dell offer is wrong, that one should be hotter if 15% offer is valid).

If you take a minute to read the ORIGINAL post you'll find out that the rebate is still valid and that rebate made this deal hot not the aditional $2 off.
I never said not to post any other deal for this reader , I said not to repost the perpetual Dell deal and this way to lose valuable information contained in the previous post like it obviously happen here .
If Dell decides to modify a coupon I don't see the need for a NEW post on the same subject when the old thread is still open .
We have to mantain some kind of discipline otherwise we'll be flooded with refurbished deals ...

I do not want to get involved in this bickering.. but I did not originally see the orignal post but did see this post.. and $2 or not this is pretty good deal.. if we can get free shipping..

Now some one find a way to make the shipping free and I'll jump in.

Thanks for the post.

Also, I'm sure the majority of folks in this forum don't give a rat's a** if it's a repost, I, and probably a lot of others didn't see it the first time.

Thanks for the repost. I've missed it last time and had you not reposted, I would not have known the rebate had extened.

Mine got shipped on Friday. Can't wait

Thanks for the post!

Has anyone tried to use the MMC reader with the memory cards from the Compaq PA-1 mp3 player?

Keep up the good work DestinyDE!

Thanks!

For a really good deal, get this in combination with the Lite-On 32x CD-RW drive for only ~84 after rebate, shipped (see bensbargains) 🙂 The drive is out of stock, but you can still order and they will ship it to you when they get more in. Assuming the media card reader costs $20 (AR), the burner would only cost $64. And you could always sell either one of the two and probably make a small profit.

Got on this ... I REALLY needed this reader ! Thanks a lot for the deal DestinyDE !

I saw the other deal, but was under the impression that it had expired. Had it not been for this post, I would have never known that I could still get on this ... so yes, repost does help at times 🙂

Now I am trying to get a head start on the rebate process. Does anyone know what is the UPC code on the box. And what do I put in the "Contact" box (just below the UPC code box) ?

maybe just put your name/phone number? I doubt this box will matter - as long as you send in all the right info (receipt, UPC, etc.) you'll most likely get the rebate.

vortix: Thanks !

I was just wondering if there was anything labeled "Contact" on the package for thie reader.

Anyway, it probably is not very important ...

Anybody know how to get a receipt from Dell. Does the online invoice work? It seems the rebate needs a copy of original receipt.

Just to inform you. Yesterday got this unit from DELL. the UPS code didn't match one on the rebate form.
(matches only first half. second is entirelly different)

good luck 🙂
