wow! I know that I need one of these media card readers...but I have NO idea what I'm supposed to be using on it! 😉
What % off coupons or deals or whatever are we supposed to combine to make this hot?

MamBo: Could you please let us know what your UPC code was ? May be you can call the rebate center at 866-462-3943 and ask them if your UPC code is valid ... although sometimes the CSRs are as cluless as you can get !

Let us know what happened, if you do indeed call. Dell has shipped my unit and it is supposed to be here on Friday.

Did it ever occur to you how destructive nonsense like this is? You too were a newbie, and I might venture to say you might have even made the occasional repost. Seems pretty foolish to scare away the people who might, next week or next year, save you a fortune.
 
contact field is the name of the store you bought from, in this case, DELL. Other people think is Y or N. Either way there is no big deal, 'cuz I put down Dazzle when I did this on March and it went thru.

For the different UPC code, I sent the form with the original UPC and a letter explainning the problem. At first, my status was pending for paperwork. Yesterday, it is in PROCESSING STATUS and Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing and should be mailed to you within the next 30 days.

Just got one at Amazon, although it ships in 1 to 2 weeks. Shipping at Amazon was $5.58 to California, so the net price AR should be $3.57 for me. I really just want it for the OnDVD software for archiving the digital photos from my Coolpix. I just hope the rebate works.

Thanks to jsilcox for pointing out a better deal at Amazon....just ordered one. If the rebate works with Amazon too then, this will really be a hot deal.🙂
 
DOH! I got the one at Dell a couple weeks ago and haven't even used it yet, shoulda waited for the Amazon deal. Don't I feel like a sucker!
 
The Amazon price is a mistake. 20.00 is the list price for dazzle's single media readers; they make readers for compact flash only, smart media only etc. Somebody screwed up. When I first ordered last night this item was #420 on Amazon's sales rank. Right now it is #6. I hope we get them but I doubt it.
 
Anyone know why the thread about the amzon deal was locked?

Anyway, im questioning whether or not they actually will ship this so you may not want to cancel that dell order. Maybe an amex pricematch is the safest bet.
 
Anybody know how to get a receipt from Dell. Does the online invoice work? It seems the rebate needs a copy of original receipt.
Please help I also need help regarding the receipt, I would order from amazon.com, does the online invoice work or do we need to give a copy of original receipt? If we have to give a copy of the receipt, how to get the receipt from amazon??

I don't want to lose this rebate, I once missed a $30 rebate coz I sent the online invoice.
