Walking through the mall today, I saw the new Dell Axim. Since I ordered one on the 18th, I was pretty excited...
The hot dell girl complained that no one seemed interested... "and we're practically giving them away!"
I mentioned that $199 is a pretty good price...
She says, "No, here at the kiosks, we're selling them for $149. There's a $50 mail in rebate, and an instant $50 off but only here."
I almost fainted. There isn't any coupon codes involved in the price. Just the straight rebate, and an instant off. You get the PDA shipped, just like if you had ordered online (they don't carry much stock in the mini haycarts that serve as their sales platform). I think this applies to the higher-end model as well.
Since mine has shipped, I'm not sure if there's any way I can get this $50 back. Anyone know? And anyway to add a coupon code to the kiosk price?
And finally, this PDA looks MUCH better in person than it does on the website. And I think it's unbeatable for $149. Also, my apologies to those who are Axim'ed out.
