to make a long story as accurate and simple...
last nov purchased a dell 2005
4 weeks ago started noticing some "bleeding" on the screen (best way to describe it is that the screen looks like wallpaper thats been wet when your roof leaks)
finally got a hold of dell and we discussed the situation
was led to believe they would send me a NEW monitor to replace the one i have
recieved a monitor today (really quick) but it was marked refurbished
called dell and they said because I bought it in 04 they could only send me a refurb
????
i find this not to be acceptable and was told I would hear from a dell manager later today
didnt open the box...
am i wrong here for wanting a replacement of equal value?
I hope someone with some experience with dell and similar situations as this can speak up and give me some direction
