Wow, this is just like the Gateway 6400 deal.

Except it's a Celeron
...and only supports one processor
...and doesn't have a SCSI interface
...and an IDE drive instead of SCSI
...and costs more (now)


I'm sorry, this is blatant thread-crapping.
 
the 500SC ain't a real server....geez...
good for a cheap box, but don't expect to play video games on it...no AGP 🙂
 
BooneRebel said everything that needed to be said about this deal.
Take the word "server" off the name of the computer because
that's marketing malarky.

Instead change the description of this deal to

Dell 1.1Ghz celeron system - $389.

Not nearly as hot sounding.

Dell 1.1Ghz celeron system - $648 sounds like doggie doo-doo.
