Wow, this is just like the Gateway 6400 deal.

Except it's a Celeron
...and only supports one processor
...and doesn't have a SCSI interface
...and an IDE drive instead of SCSI
...and costs more (now)


I'm sorry, this is blatant thread-crapping.

kof, if u change the service plan to 1 yr instead of 3 yrs, u will get it at $499 plus tax

the 500SC ain't a real server....geez...
good for a cheap box, but don't expect to play video games on it...no AGP :)

Take the word "server" off the name of the computer because
that's marketing malarky.

Instead change the description of this deal to

Dell 1.1Ghz celeron system - $389.

Not nearly as hot sounding.

Dell 1.1Ghz celeron system - $648 sounds like doggie doo-doo.
