So my wife and I leave and go to Red Robin where we are seated as soon as we walk in, have our drinks delivered about 2 minutes later, my burger was the correct one, properly cooked and the price point was 1/3 of what it would have been at Outback
This was the proper route from the start. I have always been impressed with Red Robin. I'm getting hungry!

Wow, you must have had the worst restaurant experience in history it seems.
Outback's are great here. The Outback Polo Ranch is right where I lived and my parents had two of the main guys in high school with them.
It's always a long wait here, but it's good for the price. It's not a 5 star restaurant but you do get trailer trash coming in sometimes expecting to be treated like Kings since 'they are eating at Outback'. It's a family restaurant....if you want quiet and lack of children being noisy triple your entree price and you should be good.
You bringing up a Red Robin and how it was perfect and cheaper has me thinking this was really the story you wanted to tell.
We had one of those places here. The worst food and way overpriced. The thing folded in months.

Why you would go to a chain for steak is beyond me =P

Yea, the moral of the story is to eat at Red Robin and skip Outback. Red Robin rules and every time I've gone it's been fantastic.

Yeah because the waitress is the one that cooks the food. Do everyone that enjoys eating out a favor and stay home with your frozen pizza.
Definatelly not medium well done

The waitress can still be prompt by making sure your drinks are filled and checking back at your table every few minutes to see if there's anything else you need. Most people, I think, get that it's not really the waitresses fault if the food takes a long time to cook.

Two years ago the girlfriend and I went to an Outback.
We get seated, order drinks and order food.
The food comes out normal time. As we begin to eat water starts dripping on my girlfriend food, and then starts pouring down.
Look up and there was a nice brown mildew panel with water pouring down.
The manager wouldnt give us free food and only offered 50% off.
We havent been back since

Mediocre steaks at best. Nothing impressive. Draft beer sucks too.
