Fixed.
Bush has a BA from Yale and an MBA from Harvard plus he was a jet fighter pilot... I am use he got all those things why having a below average IQ

What is even better is that Bush and Kerry were both officers at the same time and based on studies of their test scores 'experts' surmise that Bush has a higher IQ than Kerry due to him scoring higher than Kerry...

No he got that far thanks to his Dad.

I thought conservative meant smaller governments, less taxes, and less regulations. Basically, the smaller government, the better. Let free market reign, etc.. Ahmadinejad looks like the type that would like to tell you how to dress, how to eat and how to pray. Allah forbid, if you had a business, what your business cannot do, and what your business can...

In that regard, its seems like Ahmadinejad is more like a california liberal... regulation, after regulation... telling you when you can and can not smoke, drink, etc...

That's the original definition of a liberal.

Whats the new definition of a liberal then?

there isn't one, except for in america

What made GWB somewhat folksie and appear dumb was his lack of any speech ability. He has a brother that has dyslexia and maladies like that tend to run in families.

And GWB may be smarter than many give him credit for, but GWB excelled at not using his brain or reasoning ability, and instead relied on ideology, long past the time when it was apparent that the ideology was definitely not working as planned.

What this has to do with a thread on Iran escapes me, but the Mullahs seem to want to rely on dumb brute force repression, and the protesters are simply going to have outsmart the the existing Iranian power structure. Time is on the side of the Iranian reformists and time is working against the Iranian religious authorities.

What Vic meant is that Ahmadinejad is a social conservative.

Street actions can't go on forever, especially in a state where the government has a firm control over weapons and the police forces.

Whether an effective and prolonged general strike takes place will determine if this revolt fizzles out at this stage or if it grows to a serious threat. The police can shoot demonstrators down in the street, but there isn't enought police to force people to work.

I ran across this unfiltered Iranian news site on another forum. Great place to get the news first hand. It also has suggestions as to what we ordinary persons can do to help.

I think his (Bush) Lyme disease had a large effect. They kept it secret awhile. It can cause severe neurological issues. It replicates slowly and a lot of doctors dont treat it correctly when it's had a chance to disseminate. They often use bacteriostatic drugs instead of bactericidal and not for long enough duration

Bush Apparently Had Lyme Disease
President Was Treated for Rash in 2006

I've had Lyme several times, as has my wife, all my kids and most of our relatives and neighbors (I live about 5-10 miles away from Lyme, CT). The vast majority of Lyme cases are very easily treated with a short course of drugs. It is true that in some very rare cases people have horrendous side effects from Lyme, but I highly doubt Lyme diease is a valid explanation for GWB.

Yes pretty much no blacks, who all 'come from modest backgrounds'. Funny how that is.

Obama, Powell, Thomas, Rice - and coincidentally, they all had help from affirmative action.
