You're right, the Texans are an amazing team, and Donte Stallworth proved that he is much more capable of being the Eagles #1 receiver than Terrell Owens. I fully concede the season, and the Eagles are clearly going to win the Superbowl.
You are such a whiny little girl. Go listen to Nsync or something.
The Giants are going to completely dismantle the Eagles, as well as all of your hopes and dreams, next week. Its going to be great, even if I hate the Giants too.
Can't wait.
It should be a fun game.

I'm glad you guys keep bringing this up. Makes me feel good to know that my opinion is so valued that it requires a weekly reminder to see how I'm doing.

Plus its greatly amusing to know that one can denounce season-long predictions after a week or two.

No I'd say it's more like thw fascination in watching a train wreck.

Btw, I love the AFC East predictions still 🙂

Glad you do. Again, everyone whines, bitches, cries, menstrates, and gets a whole beach's worth of sand in their privates if I didn't pick their team to win it all. Guess what - the pats suck.

I love it.

I think you're the one primarily getting his panties in a bunch.

You're the Pats certainly suck.....

interesting statement.

Pats fans should have Tom Brady's mentality. He realizes they won, but if you heard him talk...he's not happy about their play so far. As you shouldn't be, either.

No I agree with that completely. They should've put away the Jets completely but they tackled like crap (plus Crotchery's crazy play) and Brady is obviously struggling right now to get in sync with all his new receivers. But a win is a win, and there are enough positives from their play to be quite optimistic still (the running game, both the OL and DL).

We'll see when they play a better team. Jets and Bills aren't exactly a huge challenge (yes the Dolphins lost to the Bills, but once Culpepper gets his bearings they'll go on a tear)

Well you can speculate that Culpepper will do better (it does look like his injury is limiting him mobility wise), but I haven't seen anything particular promising in his play in terms of throwing the ball.

If anything, the biggest surprises in the AFC East are the Bills D (frankly they looks really good out there when they are in attack mode) and Pennington playing pretty well.

Sunday can't get here fast enough 🙁

I'm gonna miss the next few Giants games. 🙁

I will be out of the country for 3 weeks. It will be tough to catch a game.

Look what Parcells just said about Vanderjagt:

"I don't know the player well enough to be offering advice to him," Parcells said. "I mean, this guy's 36 years old. He's been doing this a long time. I'm just learning the player, so I'm not standing there telling him what to do. I'm just hoping that based on his history, he'll find it, and I think that's what he's trying to do."

Oh no! There must be a huge rift between them! He won't even refer to him by name!

🙂

That reminds me when I was watching ESPN and one of the videos they were showing was Bill Walsh with the 80's 49ners. He as in room with a chalk board talking about a game plan. He would say, "The quarterback will drop back." and "The quarterback will throw to this reciever." He was talking about Joe Montana of course, but would never say the name, just "quarterback".

Deeko looks like you and be both messed up on the AFC east, and possibly the 3rd/4th positions in NFC east. Other than that maybe JAX over INDY but thats not too different other than the fact that JAX is a lock for wild card if not division. There's going to be a good team in the AFC that deserves a wild card that won't get it this year. And wow on the NFC south, what the hell is going on. I still think Carolina will pull out of the slump but who knows when.

1. Miami Dolphins - Daunte will be back, mark it
2. New England Patriots - Vinatieri is the only reason they won Superbowls. He's gone.
3. New York Jets - I like Pennington, but thats it
4. Bufallo Bills - self proclaimed best RB in football, not much otherwise

😀

I have to say though Mangini has the Jets playing pretty well.

Its that time of year...less than a week till football season starts!!! With that, here are my official predictions for the 2006 NFL Season:

NFC East
1. Dallas Cowboys - straight nasty all around
2. New York Giants - Tiki has to wear down some time
3. Washington Redskins - Brunell needs a new hip
4. Philadelphia Eagles - hahahahahaha...hold on...hahahahahaha

NFC South
1. Carolina Panthers - great defense. solid offense.
2. Atlanta Falcons - will Vick ever live up to his potential?
3. Tampa Bay Bucaneers - Simms is ok, gotta love Cadillac
4. New Orleans Saints - deuce/bush is an awesome backfield, but thats all they have

NFC North
1. Chicago Bears - top of a terrible division. no offense.
2. Minnesota Vikings - Johnson also needs a hip
3. Detroit Lions - all those players on offense...someone do something!
4. Green Bay Packers - poor Favre. retire already, please.

NFC West
1. Seattle Seahawks - reversing the madden curse.
2. Arizona Cardinals - absurd offense if they get protection
3. St Louis Rams - Meh.
4. San Francisco 49ers - only good player is the 36 year old Larry Allen

AFC East

AFC South
1. Indianapolis Colts - I want to have Peyton Manning's babies.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars - questions at RB, but solid all around
3. Tennessee Titans - Young is a bust of Ryan Leaf-like proportions.
4. Houston Texans - Davis out for the season, could have used Reggie...

AFC North
1. Cincinati Bengals - Carson Palmer is incredible.
2. Baltimore Ravens - sick defense. McNair. I like them.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers - last year was a farce, subtract some key players, watch them fall
4. Cleveland Browns - will they ever find a center?

AFC West
1. San Diego Chargers - I'm a believer in Rivers. Plus they have LT.
2. Denver Broncos - a RB will fail here eventually...
3. Kansas City Chiefs - LJ is overhyped. o-line getting old. no defense.
4. Oakland Raiders - poor drafting, Moss is always a threat though

NFC Playoffs:
Cowboys, Panthers, Seahawks, Bears, Giants(WC), Falcons(WC)
AFC Playoffs
Dolphins, Colts, Chargers, Bengals, Patriots(WC), Ravens(WC)

Superbowl:
Colts over Cowboys

edit: I apoligize if I didn't pick your team to win the division. Don't get your panties in a wad, if it makes you feel better you can rub it in my face if I'm wrong. I don't care, I've already admitted that there will be plenty things that turn out different than what I have here, that's life in the NFL.

Bump so we can see how your predictions are doing so far.

I love everyone bashing him in the first week and so forth. His predictions aren't that far off, to be honest.

No doubt. Philly is really the only big surprise. But I bet even Andy Reid didn't expect to be doing this good after losing Mcnabb. AFC east was little off...but otherwise fairly good guessess.

Actually, the funny thing is this thread is about my predictions for the SEASON, not for week 1. Anyone with a brain could have told you the Eagles would win against the Texans, and I never once said Dallas would beat Jacksonville on the road, one of the hardest games on their schedule.

Thus, you're an idiot, and the Eagles suck.
The funny thing is that so far this season, your predictions are completely wrong...

he is doing pretty well. His playoffs are very close. I am a bing Indy fan, but i am not sure we can survive against the Chargers or anyone who dedicates to the run without Doss and Sanders back.
