I think I'll go to Deeko's school and start selling property on Antarctica.

<< Foreversilky, while everyone may know about and use computers, what type of people generally go to a computer messageboard regularly? NOT you're average, normal high school student. >>

You're right, the above average student goes to a compute message board regularly.

Wow, the kid DJs too! Please tell me you DJ a lil better than you sing. Now, I just listened to that single on his site, and at first i thought "okay, he can hold a tune." Then deeko was all about the falsetto and it just sounded bad. Stay away from octaves you can't handle... Take it from a guy who's been in 4 bands and has been DJing (no, not that dual CD player crap - I mean REAL DJing with 3 Technics 1200s, etc) for almost 5 years now. The falsetto (or castrato) range is a dangerous thing to tread into. Stick with a range that's good for ya.

I dunno why I threw the DJ thing in there... I'm not really a big fan of ppl who use CDs for DJing and it just kinda irks me, but I guess it's up to the person. Keep practicing, yo...

Umm, I downloaded it and I'm kinda disappointed... I expected something worse :) Yeah, IMHO it fully sucks, but reading the previous comments I thought It's so bad that it's funny... I can't sing, but even my 15 years old little brother makes better music. I will put sth. from him up soon.

The songs I wrote I made in my more natural octave....on the covers I tried to sing whatever they were in.

I don't have the cash for 1200's. I'm only 16 and DJing is my only job. And I don't have a lot of time for that even, because of volleyball. I'll move to turntables eventually, but it would cost me a good $2K

aparently, compared to me....yes.... hmmm
that made a helluva lot of sense.

Any person with a reasonable IQ would have deduced that the statement "Boy bands Suck and so do you" was a simple statement, not comparing anything... an opinion if you will.

if i must state a comparison, how about boy bands compared to any other band out there.

and you compared to a monkey. Monkeys are cool. You are not. You are suck.

Oh? So you can't suck compared to something else? You just suck? My volleyball team could wreck any other team in the county, so none of them would say we suck, but the number one team in the state would. So, it's quite obvious that the statement "you suck" has to be compared to something. Explain to me though, why do I suck? Because I like music other than yours? Because I record songs for fun, even if they aren't that good(not that you could do any better)?

lets see here, why dont you brag a little tiny bit more about your "awesome" volleyball team? please, we would all love to hear how great you and your team are. Obviously, you have never heard of an opinion...

Dictionary.com defines it as:
o·pin·ion (-pnyn)
n.

A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof: ?The world is not run by thought, nor by imagination, but by opinion? (Elizabeth Drew).
A judgment based on special knowledge and given by an expert: a medical opinion.
A judgment or an estimation of the merit of a person or thing: has a low opinion of braggarts.
The prevailing view: public opinion.
Law. A formal statement by a court or other adjudicative body of the legal reasons and principles for the conclusions of the court.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Middle English from Old French from Latin opni, opnin-.]
Synonyms: opinion, view, sentiment, feeling, belief, conviction, persuasion.
These nouns signify something a person believes or accepts as being sound or true. Opinion is applicable to a judgment, especially a personal judgment, based on grounds insufficient to rule out the possibility of dispute: It is wise to seek a second medical opinion before submitting to surgery. ?A little group of willful men, representing no opinion but their own, have rendered the great Government of the United States helpless and contemptible? (Woodrow Wilson). View stresses individuality of outlook: ?My view is . . . that freedom of speech means that you shall not do something to people either for the views they have or the views they express? (Hugo L. Black). Sentiment and especially feeling stress the role of emotion as a determinant: ?If men are to be precluded from offering their sentiments on a matter which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences . . . reason is of no use to us? (George Washington). The economist gave us her feelings on the causes of inflation. A belief is a conclusion, not necessarily derived firsthand, to which one subscribes strongly: ?Our belief in any particular natural law cannot have a safer basis than our unsuccessful critical attempts to refute it? (Karl Popper). Conviction is a belief that excludes doubt: ?Responsible journalism is journalism responsible in the last analysis to the editor's own conviction of what, whether interesting or only important, is in the public interest? (Walter Lippmann). Persuasion applies to a confidently held opinion not necessarily based on intellectual considerations: ?He had a strong persuasion that Likeman was wrong? (H.G. Wells).

oh, if you couldnt be bothered to read that, or just couldnt read it at all, basically it says that you dont need anything to back up an opinion, an opinion is derived from the person stating it. You dont need to make any comparisons, an opinion just is.

it is my deduction that you are a child... most likely one of 16 or 17 who has not been outside the shelter of his mommy or daddy, yet still considers themself to be a very talented genius who does everything for him/herself. Am I correct, Deeko the superstar?

I never said my team was good. My county sucks. We are only average. We probably won't even make states. But we aren't in a good county, all the other teams lost everyone. You saying I suck is obviuosly an opinion, but you missed the point of what I said, so you're obviously too thickheaded and idiotic to understand.

EDIT: I removed part of what I said, I didn't want to sink you your level

I'm sorry, oh old and wise one. You're "deduction" is pretty well thought out...I've never stated my age here before....and what makes you think I've never been "outside the shelter of my mommy and daddy", is that the way you were when you were 16? I don't consider myself to be incredibly talented. You obviously can't read. You obviously also haven't read my posts, where I openly admited that the songs weren't good. Way to be smart, old and wise one.

As I've said before, Deeko, don't listen to the sewer waste that some of these people like to post. Who cares what they or anybody else thinks. As long as you enjoy what you do and have fun, who cares if it sucks in the eyes of others.

I love to draw. Any blank piece of paper I can spare I fill with drawings. And I know I'm no good compared to some, but I love doing it so I'll keep on drawing till the end of my days. Why? cause I have fun and it makes me happy.
However, I don't have the guts to post my drawings on this forum. You however have tremendous guts to post your stuff. Good going:)

I've reassesed my opinion of Deeko. While the songs are beyond terrible he certainly has confidence and drive that is lacking in youth of today let alone our day. So I have some grudging admiration for your character. You've held up remarkably better than a lot of adults would under this bombardment.

Calm down and listen to yourself and you will say exactly the same things we are saying.

I sold a CD of cover songs in school last year...it sucked, but it was funny. That's why I did it. If I was embarresed, there's no way I would have sold 50 copies of it to kids in school, and to have them play it in every classroom.

U promised us of that order slips or somthing that u've sold 50 of you "ALBUM"? where is it? and when "EVERY CLASSROOM" listening to it? what kind of school do you goto? were they all laughing out when listening to it?

but most of the people on these boards are pretty much dorks....if any of you went to my school, I'd probably be the one making fun of you.

I understand your reaction, but what did you expect? we are telling you how we felt about the song and many of us thought it was a joke, but your responds like this doesnt help a bit. only ppl will have more reasons to attack to easily.

My volleyball team could wreck any other team in the county, so none of them would say we suck

so this generaly mean that ur team is good, right? but then...

I never said my team was good. My county sucks. We are only average. We probably won't even make states. But we aren't in a good county, all the other teams lost everyone.

HMM?? now, some parts are hard to understand but now your team isnt good anymore?

Well, like i said on the Perfect Circle post, Dig up stupid, dig up! again, good luck with ur Singing career. (i hope u get good enough to become big oneday and on interview, say "Yeah all you AT Dorks eat this! , or somthing like that, but for now i dont think u can sing.)

That makes sense...

Oh, and I'm supposed to be the "immature cocky little kid", and then we've got you posting PM's. That's some mature stuff right there.

<< BTW, if deeko did take down his file, I still have a copy on my HD, I could put it on my server, let me know if you are interested.. >>

I already said I didn't take it down. Maybe Webjump canceled the account.

<< U promised us of that order slips or somthing that u've sold 50 of you "ALBUM"? where is it? and when "EVERY CLASSROOM" listening to it? what kind of school do you goto? were they all laughing out when listening to it? >>

I scanned the order forms for the new CD. I'll go get them off my other computer if you'd like. What kind of a school do I go to? A regular public high school....I'm sorry, I should have said every SOPHMORE classroom was listening to it, which is true.

>>

That was the point....we may seem good to the other teams in the county, cause they graduted almost all of their good players. But as soon as you get into one of the better counties, you will see us get destroyed. That's really not hard to understand.

Right...same cds as 12 year old girls....boybands' main listening audience is teenaged. Which i am also. Now tell me, if I am singing boyband music to other teenager girls who like this stuff, what kind of a reaction do you think that brings, hmm? Well, "pansy", play some perfect circle or something like that, know what? They will totally ignore you. So looks like I'm on the right track. When are you going to give up?
