Deeko,

You've got guts to post this, and that's commendable. I've recorded shìt like that before, just messing around with a friend and two acoustic guitars, but I'd never dare to share it with anyone. Best of luck to you and your future endeavors; this song really wasn't good, at all, but with practice, you may be able to become a pop-star yet.

Just don't drop out of school.

:)

<< << It actually makes bands like Nsync sound good, it really is that bad. >>

You're obviously not a fan of the genre, so who do you think you are to judge? That's like hearing Clinton's
opinion on a RAP single..
>>

I think he's got you there snow patrol. Even though this is a big, smelly, rotten piece of ear bursting torture, you have to realize the genre it comes from. This is but one floater from the larger cesspool of pop music. When you come down to it, all sh!t stinks, you just have to find the nicest smelling turd in the bunch. Yours isn't ALL that rank compared to the rest, way to go Deeko!

And I've also noticed that we've both reached "Platinum" level on a day apart from each other.

What are the odds?

<< just need to toss on the vocals >>

Toss as in "toss my lunch"? And by the way it's not a single, to have a single you'd be signed and the record company would release a single, this is just a single bad song.

Um, er....well Deeko.....you sing mostly better than I do. Mostly. But you've got some sincerely large cojones to post this here (either that or you've had a recent head trauma).

Have I mentioned I make small children cry when I sing in public? In a bad way, that is. ;)

Well, seriously, there are brief parts that are okay, and considering that a lot of music out there is remixed all to heck by the producer anyway, I wouldn't say you had no chance of getting recorded - I've certainly heard worse vocals before they were prettied up by an engineer.

Yes, I agree with some people here, the vocals needed a little work, even slightly lame vocals can drag down the best intrumentals, deek.
It is decent work though; you recorded the instruments and such sepratly and used the pc to put them together right?
SHoot , accidently selected and deleted part of my post, while editing, forgot what I had written.

But it DL'd like lightening for me.

All I want, sounds reasonable. Maybe you should ahve practiced it some more! I have spent hours on end practicing songs for the musical, "The Music Man."

cmelodysax, deeko, and I should get our Sax, Tuba, and Voices together and put together a really messed up song.

I still don't have the final one done. This wasn't the final one, at least not as far as the vocal part goes. Someday, maybe if I learn how to have vibrato that isn't crazy loose, I'll record a good version :)

heh, another bleemer...

I'm not easily embarresed. I sold a CD of cover songs in school last year...it sucked, but it was funny. That's why I did it. If I was embarresed, there's no way I would have sold 50 copies of it to kids in school, and to have them play it in every classroom. I will be selling a CD with this song, and a few others, too. It's funny, that's why I do it.

In all honesty, that was terrible. But it did give me a good laugh.

Back to listening to Jurassic 5.
Peace

"....just need to toss on the vocals..."

This might not be a good idea...

"I still don't have the final one done..."

Hmmm, that one should be much better...

"Who says I'm not my own record company?"

Do you have any options?

"Just wait until the second single from the CD...."

Please, spare us.
