Decline in people wearing suits and is it a bad thing?

I didnt mention this 4 years ago but I think it needs to be pointed out:

I cant AFFORD to wear suits every day. Even something really basic costs about 250 bucks. And you'd need several so you could always have one at the cleaners and one reserve in case of some horrible accident. Oh, and thats another thing, the cleaners cost money, much more than running a washer and dryer. And suits are magnets for accidents. Even a small amount of damage or a tiny stain renders it unwearable.

A bag of black t-shirts costs 8 dollars and you can get decent jeans for 25 bucks or really good jeans for 75 which will survive years of abuse and cleaning. And stains. And can also be patched if torn.

Abortion is murder.
Abortionist Curtis Boyd candidly confessed, “Am I killing? Yes, I am. I know that.”
Another abortionist said, “Abortion is killing. Nobody can argue with that.”

Meh, it isn't my choice. I don't care what other people do with their bodies.

Doesn't your fake God say not to judge others for their sins?

Same here. I used to wear a suit everyday for work but the last couple of times I wore one was for my daughters wedding and my cousins funeral. I was the only one wearing a tie at the funeral.

I once went to a job interview and the interviewer and the man I would be working for showed up in scrubs, me in a 3 piece suit. Interview was in his hotel room so I know he was out of town and not coming from the hospital. Knew I didnt want the job or to work for him so I had fun with the interview and then turned down the offered position. When he asked why I told him I could see he wouldnt have much respect for me or any other person showing up the way he did. Today I could have showed up in scrubs and nothing would probably be thought about it but things were different then and not that long ago either.

there's defo a decline in people wearing suits as one group of people have grown out of the "power suit" craze of the 80s. Now rich, or even just "respectable" people, wear "business casual" because "it's about being rich, not looking rich".

I didn't wear a suit to MY wedding.

In fact guests were encouraged to dress smart casual.

I then proceeded to spend the whole day cracking jokes.

There was no dancing. There was no dodgy DJ. The best mans speech became "oh my god is there anyone left that doesn't have something to say?"

"Best wedding ever" many people declared, including the older folks who had been to many, including their own.

Screw suits. Screw formal attire in general. And screw overtly dramatic and tedious weddings.

I only wear a suit on funerals and weddings. On job interviews my regular clothing is fine.
I do am looking around for a nice blazer to wear with my everyday clothes. Usually my coats are neat enough but a blazer would be nice.

By the way, a zygote/embryo/fetus is by definition a living thing, which means that abortion by definition is murder.

Although abortion should not be used lightly with little thought, it has a purpose and is useful.
Prevention of pregnancy through awareness and condoms/contraception is the best way and that should be promoted.Unfortunately, the people against abortion are usually also against contraception/ use of condoms.

As a side note :
Every time you eat, cells in your body die to sustain your status quo.
Every time you eat, you take life from something else.
Until we humans evolve to produce and recycle all essential nutrients in our body, we have to kill/ sacrifice and eat.
And even then, we need nutrition to grow.

I've never understood why abortion is considered horrific, but forcing a woman into an 18+ year life sentence is perfectly ok?
