I woudln't get an accord, at least compared to the Maxima. The maxima'll be overall more fun to drive.

Have you considered a 325i? It's actually $30,300 ;).
http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/3/2006325isedan/default V6, 215HP.

If you can do european delivery you can save yourself an extra $2000

"Model, Original Price, Reduced Price, Toal Savings:
2006 325i Sedan $30,300 $28,180 $2,120"

World class handling, excellent brakes, and brisk accelleration.

Between the 3 cars you mentioned? The Maxima ;).

EPA mpg, city/hwy 17/25 (mfg est) not great but with 340hp and 390ft-lbs of torque it isn't to bad.

the mpg is closer to 19 in mixed city/highway driving, as a few sites have suggested. as far as the engine, you're talking about a car that weighs over 2 tons; of course you need a lot more hp and torque.

dont get a damn new charger. theyre ugly as hell, and a disgrace to the original. If you want a new car with a hemi, my suggestion is to find a time machine and travel back to the 70s.

I am in the same boat.

It's either a 2006 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab

or

2006 Mercedes Benz SLK 350 Roadster

I have a 2000 Accord Ex V6(and I love it), but I would lean towards the Maxima.
