I woudln't get an accord, at least compared to the Maxima. The maxima'll be overall more fun to drive.

EPA mpg, city/hwy 17/25 (mfg est) not great but with 340hp and 390ft-lbs of torque it isn't to bad.

the mpg is closer to 19 in mixed city/highway driving, as a few sites have suggested. as far as the engine, you're talking about a car that weighs over 2 tons; of course you need a lot more hp and torque.
