If one likes the taste, sure. It has viscosity builders and the like to make it thicker so it has that going for it.

I do like it for some reason. However, I shall be on the lookout for some of that darker real maple syrup I have seen discussed here. That sounds better than the clear watery stuff I have tried in the past.
 
Growing up, our pancake syrup was homemade. Simple syrup with a little mapleine flavoring, because that was cheap.

Now that I'm not poor, I'm using real maple syrup because it's hella better than any other syrup for breakfast foods. You people that like fake syrup are weird.
 
I like molasses cut with corn syrup. You get the molasses flavor with better viscosity, and manageable strength.
